I went with the DMT tail light gaskets. No leaks from the day I left it in the rain.

Lapping day is by etransfer as they decided to avoid the motorsports reg fees. I just paid this morning.

^ I did VIMC with Speed Fanatics and it was a great time. Highly recommend them. Lunch is spendy but you can pack a cooler or make it to Timmys/Subway/McDonalds and back.

Nope. June 2nd event is a fancy hamburger lunch for $20. Speed Fanatics ($525 early bird) was an additional $35 for a fancy lunch.

Don't think so. Jt wants Phoenix yellow

VIMC lunch was probably the saddest burger I've ever had in my life, even without counting the $35 price tag. Track is definitely fun though, but definitely makes for a spendy weekend if you count the ferries coming over.

To make this type R relevant, what does RS know about this caR? https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/...564792265.html

I'm not in the market right now, but I check pretty often anyways just for kicks..

Good to know about the burger! For $35 I would it expect it to be above average.

I will pack a cooler and sandwiches again. More money for tires.

^^that and I wouldn't necessarily consider it a unicorn due to the badge number. It only boasts the cool factor since the badging sequence was at complete random with no correlation to anything like the VIN, build sequence, etc. The number is the just the number and each one has it's own relevance in the same light.

for auto purchases it's no longer logical to bother converting CAD to USD since like 5 years ago

many new cars at the dealership are typically within 5% of US MSRP, but in CAD...we've been typically getting the 'better' deal

VIMC is an extremely fun track. Very tight and technical with plenty of elevation change. Loosely reminds me of Ebisu touge course. DC2 would do very well.

I might be at June 2nd VIMC with the FK8 or AP2 depending if my wheels arrive for the FK8.

Installed new oem rear calipers, painted the fronts to a silver to match the backs and changed the lug nuts to black. I can’t stand anything looking chrome.

VR6GTI are those black lugs ball seat?

Nicer Dc2 Recaro in black. Tempting but I am leaning towards a single bucket for track days.
