Legit question, why are people so enamored with Krueger?
iirc he was pedestrian in an Oiler team not unlike the current Canucks roster. Mix of aging vets and up and comers.
Sure he did decent in the World Cup tourney but it was honestly a mean-nothing tourney. He hasn't exactly been immersed in the game either as a current chairman for a Premier League team.
So why all the interest in him? Seems like it's a try-hard "out of the box" attempt at a coach when there's better options out there.

Blackhawks are going down!
That Preds line of Johanssen Forsberg and Arvedsson is cooking the Hawks.
Rinne is playing great as well.
Who would have thought the Nashville is on the verge on eliminating Chicago?
-hope you guys picked some Preds players for your playoff pool. 
My playoff pool team is gonna be decimated with the loss of five players.

Perhaps Aquaman is telling Linden that hiring another coach with a better track record such as Crawford would mean that the coach would ask for a higher salary.
Aquaman is trying to save money now that his Canucks are not the cash cow it used to be for him.
