I've made my choice, fuck the note 7 and fuck Samsung. Gonna ditch my S7 and just keep my nexus 6p till it dies. At this point I no longer have any faith in Samsung. |
Guess it's back to the S7 Edge for me. |

Well AT&T and T-mobile have "halted" sales of the Note 7. Even though there are no reports of a note 7 exploding in Canada, I wonder if some of our providers might do the same.. |

Will be interesting to see how much it shifts from Samsung to Apple when Q3 data comes out due to the Note 7 now that Samsung is halting production and two of the bigger American carriers halting sales as well. |

damn. whos planning on keeping their phone?? |
I expect Samsung Canada to follow suit soon... :okay: |
I wonder if they're going to put it back up for sale or just cut their losses and rush the s8. I'd buy one if they were cheap, I have some nomex coveralls I can wrap it in while charging |

so is every owner getting a refund instead of a replacement? OK so they've powered down, now what? Bye bye to $1000? this is huge. may be skipping the Note6 moniker was bad juju! |

If there's any possibility that it may catch fire, it's not worth it. I highly doubt that they'll ever sell this phone again. The risk of more fires is just not worth it to them as I'm sure the guy who had it smoke up while sleeping is already a hefty lawsuit. It's a real shame because I love the notes and Samsung, but even I'm going to be a little weary when the note 8 comes out. |

dead! Galaxy Note 7: Samsung ends production - Oct. 11, 2016 Samsung has permanently halted production and sales of its Galaxy Note 7 smartphone after failing to correct a problem that was causing the devices to burst into flames. The loss of one of its flagship smartphones is a major embarrassment for Samsung (SSNLF), which was forced to recall 2.5 million Note 7s shortly after the device went on sale in August. The South Korean firm attempted to fix the problem by switching battery suppliers and updating the smartphone's software. Company executives issued a slew of apologies. But when replacement phones were issued, a number of customers reported that those devices also caught fire, including one aboard a passenger jet. Samsung on Monday advised all customers to stop using the phones, sending its shares tumbling by 8% in Seoul. The world's biggest smartphone maker said Tuesday it was killing off the phone entirely. |
Good riddance. No accountability for user safety. |
Does this make the Note 7 a collectors item? |
It'll be a collector's item until the Galaxy S8 Mega comes out, complete with S Pen. |

Samsung is shipping me two boxes. 1lbs and 3lbs. Wonder if it's an empty box in another box for the return. Or another Note 7 with a return box? Lol |
