It's more portable than a full ATX case, 24" monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headphones/speakers.

If I did more LAN parties, I'd consider one. But trade off, as you mentioned, far worse $/performance, limited upgrade options, throw away if major part fails, etc.

and there's nothing too portable about it... it weighed like 10lbs and the battery lasts like 90m.

The newer asus rog has thunderbolt 3 over usb-c which means you can hook it up to external graphics (rog station 2 or other solutions made by gigabyte, razer, alienware etc) and game at home.

Two options,

-get one with the weakest internal graphics and spend that towards an external graphics card.

-get one with good graphics card built in for graphics power on the go. The GTX graphics cards on the ROG laptops are the same as the desktop counterparts.

Its not cheaper for sure but you can still get desktop performance.

If anyone sees a good deal on a DJI Mavic post it up, would be much appreciated. So far the one on Amazon Canada seems the best deal for a package with extra batteries as you wouldn't have to pay the US duties

You don't pay taxes when you order from DJI.

It's essentially brand new with possibly slight usage on the blender base. Jugs, lid, and tamper are new. Comes with a 5 year warranty instead of the standard 7 year warranty, but if you're machine was going to die, it'd probably die sometime within the first few years anyways.

Bose SoundLink Mini II Bluetooth Wireless Speaker - Carbon : Portable Bluetooth Speakers - Best Buy Canada
sound link mini is on sale right now. I'd say theyre the best mini speakers you can buy, but on the pricey side.
I personally own the full sized sound link III.

AzNightmare 11-20-2016 04:38 PM

I'm looking for an iPad Pro pencil. Do accessories like that ever go on sale?

604CEFIRO 11-20-2016 05:13 PM

That's a good deal!

I've owned a vitamix for 5 years and use it 5 days a week. No issues never serviced. great machine!

I am not sure about Lan parties anymore. I mean with all the voice chat and stuff is pretty easy to play with your buddies at home in PJs. Is way more comfy than to pack all my gaming parts go to a friend house, found a comfy desk and chair and play.

I do bring my Wii U to friend's place from time to time to play. Those games are made for party lol.

I heard Metrotown line up was to the outside of Mcd entrance...

Expires 21th midnight
Dont go to fido store in a mall or call/chat fido. At least couple of hours wait time.
Go to bestbuy, LD or anywhere.
I went to small Fido store in Vancouver and was in and out under 20min.

SpeedStars 11-20-2016 07:15 PM

^was just at the superstore mobile shop place in Richmond and was done in half an hour. Heard from other people the line up at aberdeen, lansdowne, and Richmond centre were insane :fuckthatshit:

This killed the deal IMO when comparing to a current $49 + 10% off BYOP with 1+1GB data + unlimited Canada Wide ($44.1) from Fido last year's Black Friday deal. While the extra data is nice to have, we'll be loosing out on Spotify and Canada Wide. So it's a toss up.

Existing customers have to get it switched at a corporate store or through phone/chat.

Gucci Mane 11-20-2016 08:56 PM

^ so with spotify on fido, the membership is free but dont you still need to have enough data to stream? with 2gb you'll chew through that data quite quickly.

Jmac 11-20-2016 09:40 PM

I routinely have to call outside of province for work, so not great for me.

Cwift 11-20-2016 10:09 PM

Anyone know if there's any crazy dashcam sales?
Was looking into the thinkware f770 if anyone has seen any deals for em.
