Yea trail just matches and I've had some pretty slimey experiences with their salesmen so I'd rather not go there unless I have to

Presto 11-23-2016 07:50 AM

So HD or Lowes for appliances? How are their installation services? I want to swap out my over-the-range microwave.

Hondaracer 11-23-2016 07:55 AM

Best Buy has some pretty crazy prices right now and the sales associate in store said there is going to be a bigger discount tomorrow u related to Black Friday

Can't be worse than anywhere else.

Honestly, if you can, you're better off doing it yourself. At least then, you'll take the time to do it right. So many incompetent people out there who don't give two rat's asses. I've watched many so called professionals install appliances and I'm like, WTF? No wAnder installation was included or discounted.

Unless you personally know someone you can trust. I just call up RS members, :lawl:

Also looking for a decent vacuum that's good enough for a condo. I don't feel like buying a Dyson... yet.

Zojirushi

Zo = elephant

shirushi = mark or brand

put two together and shirushi becomes jirushi.

UBC Asian Studies courses......... so handy.

Just an FYI

Good to know! :thumbs:

If you go to Trail appliances, ask for Darren.
I believe he is at the Grandview store.
We were referred to him and he was good to us. We did our homework first and asked a lot of questions.

Dragon-88 11-23-2016 10:01 AM

Lol try 50$ off.

If it was 50% off I would be buying a kitchen for the house I don't own.

Edit: Just saw someone else beat me to it.

Do you care if it's used? If not, then pick up a 2013 FHD Nexus 7. I still use mine as my living room caster and for twitter/reading news. It doesn't have Marshmallow stock, but they are super easy to flash. Even on stock, my tablet runs like a champ. Should be able to handle the SN app.

It looks like it'll run you ~$200 on CL

chinese_driver 11-23-2016 02:26 PM

anyone know of some good deals on jewelry or gold?

It's called an "Immersion Circulator". It does Sous Vide. Get ready for a life of godlike pork belly and perfect ramen eggs :D

HD and Lowest has the sale on right now and like someone else said do it yourself, its super easy

Presto 11-23-2016 03:13 PM

^^^

I'm a lazy, lazy man, though.

murd0c 11-23-2016 03:16 PM

its always easier if you are drinking... And remember both Lowes and HD will beat pricing by 10% so go to the place where the same appliance is more money and they will beat the other sales price by 10%

Check out budget appliances in Surrey or Richmond. Always have great deals and sales, and their service is second to none, especially if you want it done right the first time. My cousin just last week bought a brand new never used scratch and dent $2200 Whirlpool french door fridge, with a scratch on the side (which is completely hidden by the wall) for $899. Just ask for the Revscene discount ;)

Rallydrv 11-23-2016 03:53 PM
