I was briefly watching the first few mins of a TED talk video yesterday about an ex MS 13 gang member who has left the gang talking about how the gang was formed in the first place. Newly immigrated kid in a new country, no English, no friends, bullied because he was different, then eventually met other like minded people in the same boat and the bullied eventually became the bullies.

You can look at the data of the previous group of refugees from the 70's/80's/90's. They have all contributed more to the Canadian economy than your average Canadian.

I don't understand why people make assumptions or only take in anecdotal evidence when we live in a world where information is so widely available. There have been numerous studies on previous groups of refugees who have entered Canada, you can find all the data online.
