Why's Trump invading Venezuela? No one is questioning this? Free Venezuela?

Trump doubles the buyout of the Argentinian peso to $40 billion:

Just more grifts to his billionaire buddies, in this case one that has a major stake in the peso:

Propping up a foreign country to the benefit of his wealthy friends, "America First", right? :lol

This kind of stuff combined with all the crypto crap, the massive tax cuts, the bullshit contracts being given out willy-nilly, it really feels like the elites are just running roughshod to speed run the robbery of the economy before something finally breaks.

It's been jarring to watch.

One theory I've heard from mainstream media is -- one after another, he is more or less seeking retribution and settling old scores on his varoius opponents and criticis.

Just yesterday, John Bolton is indicted for mishandling classified information. James Comey was also indicted last month.

During Trump's 1st term, the US had supported an opposition leader and recognized him as the the legitimate Venezuela president. Ultimately, the opposition government fell apart admist the standoff to the Maduro gov, and the opposition leader dude had fled to the US (Florida, I think?). So Trump is trying to get back at Maduro again.

Realistically, most of the drugs trafficked by Venezuela goes to Europe, so Venezuela doesn't really pose a threat to the US in terms of drug trafficking. But just since when has facts ever stopped Trump from acting irrationally?
