How are we supposed to have cost advantage for other buyers when we canÂ’t even get our shit to the coast effectively?

Canadian oil is cheaper for a reason. We canÂ’t really sell it to anyone else because itÂ’s more expensive to ship and more expensive to process. But the idea is that if you make it competitive to other offerings in the world, people will come. As of right now, our cost is too high. Other existing buyerÂ’s volume is spare change comparing to what US is capable of using.

Government work and in particular infrastructure projects are much more complicated to develop in Canada compared to countries such as China.

Eby's response about pipeline from Alberta to BC's northern coast:

No, BC Premier David Eby has indicated he will not support a proposed pipeline from Alberta, stating there is currently no real project with a proponent or funding. He opposes the idea on the grounds that it would likely be a publicly funded project and would increase oil tanker traffic, which would risk environmental damage to the coast and conflict with existing bans.
No current project: Eby's position is that Alberta's proposal is not a viable project because there is no private-sector proponent or funding. He has called it a "non-existent" project being used for political purposes.
Opposition to public funding: He questions the idea of Canadians paying tens of billions of dollars for a new public pipeline, especially when existing projects like the Trans Mountain pipeline are not at full capacity.
Environmental and tanker concerns: Eby's government has opposed a new oil pipeline due to concerns about increased tanker traffic and potential environmental harm to B.C.'s coastal waters. He also pointed to the existing federal oil tanker ban on the north coast.

Currently, we have a federal government ban on tanker ships on BC's northern coast. This ban has nothing to do with Carney. The Trudeau government put this ban on tankers in place because of environmental concerns about oil spills.

We cannot put the blame 100 percent on Eby.

Several levels of government must approve tanker ships on BC's northern coast before the idea of a pipeline from Alberta to BC is even considered.

If the Chinese government, Taiwanese government, needed an oil pipeline developed, of course, those infrastructure projects would be done much quicker compared to Canada.

Why? Canada is a democracy. There are many stakeholders that have a voice in infrastructure projects. Indigenous people. Pipelines would be built across Indigenous people's land. Environmental assessments from the government.

China is a communist country. When things such as infrastructure projects need be completed, they are completed much quicker because they have much fewer project stakeholders involved in the project development.

I also think that China's modular construction technology and possible use of AI to develop their infrastructure projects also helps that country's infrastructure projects develop much faster than Canada.

I don't know what happens in Taiwan, your home away from home Hehe, in terms of infrastructure projects, so I'll just leave it at that.

Were you not literally clowning on Carney for doing exactly this? Giving up the tech tax and capitulating some positions and dropping reverse tariffs? I've asked this before and I'm asking again, does being a Trump supporter require you to maintain a certain level of hypocrisy on a day to day basis???

In one 2011 email to Ghislaine Maxwell, an Epstein girlfriend now imprisoned for conspiring to engage in sex trafficking, Epstein wrote, “I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump.” He added that Trump had “spent hours at my house” with a person whose name is blacked out of the emails but who House Democrats identified as a “victim.” Epstein wrote that Trump “has never once been mentioned.”

In a separate email to journalist Michael Wolff, who has written extensively about Trump, Epstein wrote of Trump, “Of course he knew about the girls as he asked ghislaine to stop.”

After reading the emails it looks like they were trying to trap Trump but he never took the bait. Am I reading it wrong?

Ahhh yes trump the innocent bystander always the victim of a witch hunt.

Never bragging on camera he could walk into the back of the Miss TEEN USA pageant anytime he wanted where the girls are changing because he owned it and he gets to do “inspections” as the owner? Said it himself!!!

I like the email the republicans released in their swath yesterday where Epstein says Trump is the worst person he’s ever met, not one redeemable cell in his body and calls him dangerous. You know a dude’s actually a good guy when a pedophile says he’s irredeemable lol

Epstein said he ‘gave’ his young girlfriend to Trump in the 1990s. Trump has denied wrongdoing

From CNN’s Aaron Blake

Many of the exchanges from the emails feature people implying Epstein had damaging information about Trump and suggesting that he go public with it.
Epstein generally didn’t engage with these suggestions. But at one point in late 2015, he told a New York Times reporter that he could produce “photos [sic] of donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen.”
Later in the same email string, Epstein also alluded to a woman he claimed both he and Trump had dated in the 1990s.
“my 20 year old girlfriend in 1993, , that after two years i gave to donald,” Epstein said, linking to a webpage featuring the woman.

But according to Trump he hadn't spoken with Epstein for years...

Epstein spent Thanksgiving with Trump during president's first term in office: emails

President Donald Trump's relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein continued into his first term in the White House, so much so that Epstein spent Thanksgiving with Trump while the president was in office, according to newly released emails written by the late financier.

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released a new batch of emails Wednesday obtained from Epstein's estate, followed by the Republican-led panel's release of 20,000 additional documents, and one of those exchanges shows that he claims to have spent Thanksgiving 2017 – Trump's first as president – at his private Mar-a-Lago resort.

Epstein exchanged emails on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 23, 2017, with Manhattan modeling management guru Faith Kates, who asked where he was spending the holiday.

The disgraced financier told her he would spend the day with "eva," likely a reference to his former girlfriend Eva Andersson-Dubin, and Kates mentions Andersson-Dubin’s husband, Glenn Dubin, by name and asks “who else is down there?”

Epstein names Trump, hedge fund founder David Fiszel and someone else he referred to as Hanson.

White House records and contemporaneous media reports show Trump spent Thanksgiving 2017 at Mar-a-Lago, but the White House did not disclose a guest list.

Andersson-Dubin later testified at the 2021 trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted for her role as a co-conspirator in Epstein's sex trafficking network after he was found dead in prison while awaiting new charges two years earlier on similar allegations.

The moral depravity of these mouthpieces is absolutely stunning.

That lady literally has a 14 year old daughter. 1 more year of innocence left for her I guess!

Whoa, guys, what about the Trump giving Bill Clinton a blow job story?

They are trying to move the goalposts in a way that is so abhorrent, I can hardly believe it.

"They didn't like kids, they liked the 'barely legal' type that are 15 but look like they're 12"

And that's their defense!

Where are the Trump defenders now? Speak up guys!

supafamous 11-13-2025 08:41 PM

What a day, I was in meetings all day and came out to learn the following things happened today:

- Trump sucked Clinton's dick (Hillary's head game must have been real bad yo)
- Hitler has a micropenis (so it wasn't art school that messed him up?)
- Matt Gaetz paid a 17 year old homeless girl $400 for sex (and fed her cocaine)
- Megyn Kelly says raping 15 year olds is a lot different than raping 5 year olds and it's really not that bad to rape 15 year olds.

westopher 11-13-2025 09:27 PM

I’ve said it from the beginning, these sick fucks that follow this pig will never turn on him no matter how terrible the things he does, because they are just as disgusting. Trying to justify a 40 year old raping a 15 year old on a national platform should be met with imprisonment at least.

weird how this took a weird turn on wanting to releasing files.

This is likely for two reasons:

1. Trump knew he was going to lose the vote and he needs to make it seem like he's the one in charge so he needed to say he's for it.
2. Because he ordered the DOJ to investigate the Democrats in the report the DOJ can now claim that the files can't be released because there's an active investigation happening even if the vote passes (an active investigation is why Biden couldn't release it).

Gumby 11-17-2025 09:42 AM

They probably finished altering the files so that Trump is deemed innocent.

bcrdukes 11-17-2025 09:45 AM

I had similar thoughts. The integrity of the files may be at stake so the public may possibly never know the truth.
