I don't understand how so many people still don't understand this is how Trump operates. Or they blame Carney for not being able to get a deal done simply because that was the theme of his campaign. This Conservative critic that I saw on City News literally said in the (TV) discussion forum something to the effect of "It doesn't matter Trump is being difficult / unreasonable. Carney was the guy that campaigned on him being the one that is able to defend Canada and sign a deal with Trump, so we are going to hold him accountable to his word." That kind of mindset is just bewildering... :fulloffuck: |
Its become bewildering the speed in which Trump is flooding the zone with crap. The last few days alone: -Pardoned Changpeng Zhao a white-collar crypto criminal who has publicly pledged to invest (and has done so already) into Trump's World Liberty Financial coin. We've always known pardons can be bought, but this one is so obviously in the open in its corruption that it's head spinning. -White House ballroom construction has now suddenly ballooned to double the cost to the tune of $300+ million. Let that sink in, for a fucking ballroom. A fucking skyscraper can be built for $300 million. Anyone with an asshole and a mouth would know what's going on here, more corruption, more bribery, we all know this thing won't come to that cost. That money is on the take. -Sues the DOJ for $230 million. Guess who runs the DOJ, Pam Bondi. We all know how this lawsuit will play out, they'll settle, Trump will walk away with hundreds more millions of taxpayer dollars. This whole thing is fucking staggering. |

Carney's statement today was great: "We stand ready to pick up on that progress, build on that progress when the Americans are ready to have those discussions" It's like what you say to a 4 year old when they're having a temper tantrum. "Now little Timmy, when you're finished and ready to calm down we can talk" Lol |
Man baby mush brain Trump doing some top notch gaslighting, says Canada is the “hostile” one and slapping another 10% on top of existing tariffs. I literally cannot wait until this abusive waste of air piece of shit embarrassment to humanity dies, the sooner the better. |
Looks like Trump just announced a 10% increase in tariffs on Canada for not pulling down the Ontario ad sooner. Oops, 68style beat me to it. |
just make it 100% like Chinarrrrr. The faster he does this insane shit, the faster we have to expand our trade partners and pivot the economy towards Chinar / Mexico / EU. In the long run, the decoupling from american economy is probably a good thing for canada. Or get that AUKUS shit off the ground (Canada, Australia, New Zeland) and turn it into an EU like partnership. |
Fuck US. They are on their way to being North Korea and rightfully so. The whole world should isolate them so they can see how fucking useless of a country it really has become. |
Just came across this............. not sure what to make of it. |

Everyone was trying to see who and what will happen with the Japan PM. Will he call her by first name? Will Trump make fun of her... well... she bowed down to him. "Press secretary Leavitt says Japanese PM will nominate Trump for Nobel Peace Prize" What a great way to fluff his ego and now let's see what Japan will do. Then I guess she had to get signatures... https://pbs.twimg.com/media/G4UFVFAX...g&name=900x900 |
fucking japs. appalling. go back to making bento boxes you bitch. |
I've always thought Shinzo Abe was excessively and unnecessarily submissive to Trump. Given that Sanae Takaichi is very much a disciple of Abe, I am not surprised by how much she is kissing up to Trump. |
That PM has opened the dam on racism in that country that was always there under the surface and just waiting to burst. |

Puts massive tariff on China China stops buying soybeans Removes tariff China buys soybeans again “Look I got China to buy soybeans! I won!” We have known for a long time that Americans on average are not as smart as most developed nations, but holy fuck, how fucking retarded do you have to be to watch that unfold and be like “man this guy just keeps winning” Absolutely astonishing. |
Well, when you make statements like this: "I guess on the scale from 0 to 10, with ten being the best, I would say the meeting was a 12," Trump said. "I think it was a 12." Of course you are winning! |
Senate actually successfully passed a resolution yesterday, to end Trump's state of emergency which he is using to impose these tariffs, including some Republicans switching over. It won't happen in congress, and he could veto it anyway, but some of them are starting to come around at least. I guess The American system only works if people don't elect their own tyrant... Well this time they did, so they are pretty much fucked. |
In related news, Prince Andrew is being stripped of all his titles and booted off royal property https://i.imgur.com/5uoYC9v.png If the Epstein files are ever successfully released, the same could happen for Trump. And a lot of people will have to answer for knowingly supporting a pedophile (including several people here...) |

And it was only 4 Republicans that joined the Democrats, with each of them (ie. their state) having some sort of unique situation that would strongly encourage them to vote against the tariffs. So for now, I'd say the majority of Republican higher ups are still afraid to act against Trump. |
