But if anyone were to look into those numbers more carefully, they'd realize that almost none of the numbers are financially viable for the company that mentioned it.

A quick Google search turns up Meta's annual revenues from 2024 and 2025 -- it is in the ballpark of $160B - $180B per year. Now if you have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken seriously, you would know that between now to the end of 2028, we have just a bit over 3 years' worth of time. Put those 2 things together, and you'll see Zuck is pledging to invest more $$$ than what Meta can earn in revenues in the next 3 years. And this is revenue, not profits. If Zuck is serious, how can any viable company possibly invest so much money for 3 years straight? It is an absolutely terrible business plan.

When Trump pressed Cook with the same question, Cook's reply was $600B. It is not obvious whether he meant $600B per year or what. If the figure is $600B/yr, then Apple didn't even earn that much in revenues in 2024. (FYI it was around $560B+)

Other tech bros also mentioned big a$$ numbers that seemed entirely unrealistic and/or disingenious just to appease Trump.

So tell me again -- why would anyone, esp someone from the international community -- want to invest in the US over the next few years while Trump is still in office?
