I like going to Duffin's Good chicken and donuts.. Always happy supporting the locals.. |
^^^ don't forget the chorizo with egg, torta sub |
Churches is expensive af for what u get I try to stay away from fried chicken but was hung over and went down to my local churches, figured grab a 10 peice and fries in case I wanted more later, fucking like $35 for that? |
I stopped going to churches the day they got rid of the 3 pcs and small fries coupon. I was ok with them slowly raising the price but I'm not ok with having to buy another 3 pcs meal. Especially if I'm just eating by myself. |

Churches may have gotten rid of the coupon but they did come back with the 3 pc spicy (2 thigh 1 leg) + fries + drink for $7 something which is not nearly as good but still solid. Tell me what you would get at McDonalds for the same price? |

The hottest chicken joint right now is downlow chicken. Those that like spicy I suggest you don't go crazy right away and start with either medium or hot (there's 2 more levels on top of that). A lot of people get the sandwich but you can just get chicken and even wings as well. It's pricey though like quite a bit higher than churches and anything else but I thought it was solid. Still only ranks number 2 on my list after churches but I would go back for my post workout meal from time to time since my gym is a stones throw away. https://www.dlchickenshack.ca/ badhobz - I've only heard horrible things about them from a hand full of people who've tried. Your thoughts? |
Did anyone ever try King Chicken when it was on Rupert and Broadway? $1 Drums special and they were like injected with brine or something the legs were huge and super moist. Used to go there weekly and order a bunch for the office. I guess they couldn't make due with $1 chicken.. |

I agree that the KFC pieces have gradually gotten smaller though. I wouldn't say they are kid size yet, but they definitely used to be bigger. It's the same deal for McD and A&W though. |

McDonalds and A&W and or Wendys etc oh boy that's a whole other thread. |
Mary Browns in Merrit/Kamloops is pretty good, especially cold |
All this talk about chicken, and no mention of Mags99 in Squamish? I had a 3 piece there yesterday. It's a gritty little place, but the chicken and fries are solid. |

churchs and LA chicken fan here...you should try ezelles down in Seattle..similar to LA chicken |
Boom Beer Chicken in Surrey is pretty fire for Korean style. Kinda hole in the wall, but fried and sauced right. |
