La bubu is gonna get some mental health thing before trial so there maybe no repercussions. Yah I don’t think there’s any room for violent ( or any) sexual offenders in society. I think way longer sentences where these people can be held indefinitely if they are deemed a danger to society would be in order ( assuming we can’t get chemical castration/death penalty). I believe there are some conditions when things possible in Canada but I don’t think it’s for sexual assault. Would need to amend the criminal code. Which I would assume everyone would be on board for? So maybe it isn’t so easy?
Once a repeated sex assault perpetrator is convicted and sentenced, don't put him in isolation, just let him be among the other inmates and let evolution take its course. Even convicted felons have a code of honour. Just let them get 'Picktoned', do the world a favor and save tax payers $$$ to keep someonr like that alive.

His parole conditions prohibit him from accessing pornographic materials, and from being in locations where people under 16 are likely to be.
The board ruled that de Villiers caused “serious harm” to the victim.
“The impacts on the victim and your betrayal of trust and authority on him and his family cannot be overstated,” the decision says.
“With that said, you have no prior criminal history and have otherwise lived a pro-social life with positive family and a good reputation in the community.”
The board’s ruling says de Villiers had no criminal history before his 2021 arrest, but he faced a separate charge of sexual assault in February 2023 that was later stayed and he was placed under a peace bond.
Parole board decisions are not posted publicly at the time they are issued. The ruling was provided to The Canadian Press upon request.
