Engineers work hard but most of the P.Engs I've met tend to avoid the physical labour side of things lol.

While the guy has gradually turned into a conservative bigot and fell out of favour among the general public, I think it is only fair for me to acknowledge that he was once a giant and an inspiration for people like myself who worked in the IT / tech industry. For quite a long time, every satire he drew was relevant to my workplace in some way. And even to this day, I kind of see myself as a less intelligent version of Wally at work LOL~

Over the years, I've learned to look at people for who they are within a specified time period, and I won't necessarily use the more current behaviour to invalidate someone's past behaviour or achievements. To me, if I were to do that, that would amount to what I'd consider as cancel culture. People may change over time, but history doesn't (even though lots of people, esp those in power, wish they could and try to change historical narratives all the time). Scott Adams had a poignant observation about the corporate (and esp IT world), and his achievements and recognition at the time were the proof.
And come on, you can't possibly be anywhere close to being as dumb as the Pointy Haired Boss. Maybe as wicked LOL~
