Don't forget to buy a 50/50! It's going to be big. Serious down payment on a house or condo big.

Love how smooth Hughes is. He looks like he's seasoned already. Barely looks like a rookie out there. Also if Miller plays like this all season the Nucks will have a fighting chance.
Honestly, my expectations were set a little high given that they've been setting it up to be this amazing show. Everyone already knew who it was going to be.
Would've been way cooler if they let him be the last player to come out on ice, and said "annnd your captain.... BOOOO HORVAT" with the C on his jersey already. Then he does a lap to salute the fans, before going to center ice for ceremonial face off with Hank dropping the puck.
"I mean, I ain’t going to park it. It’s just embarrassing," Doughty said. "I mean, a team like that should not be beating a team like ours 8-2. There’s actually no way. I know they had a lot of energy right off the bat because it’s their home opener and they had their whole ordeal with the captain and whatever. But we had chances to come back, and then we just gave up a goal right after we scored a goal. It was a bad team effort by everyone on this team, I thought."

The Kings could've easily had a couple more goals.
Doughty thinking his team is still the one that won cups. It's ok, we all live in the past sometimes lol.
What was more annoying today was every other conversation on radio was about Linden not being there last night. It might as well be written on the wall that there's a rift between him and management/ownership. It's no secret.
Just rememered we traded Schneider to get Horvat. I wonder how Schneider's career would have looked if he was retained by Vancouver. Was mad at Gillis for trading Schneider away but glad he did, I'd take Horvat over Schneider 10 times out of 10.
