Vancouver Off-Topic / Current EventsThe off-topic forum for Vancouver, funnies, non-auto centered discussions, WORK SAFE. While the rules are more relaxed here, there are still rules. Please refer to sticky thread in this forum.
Most people I assume click New Post to refresh so the topic itself and people's participation detemines the traffic, not which section it is placed in. Proper section, which is obviously sports in this case, helps people to find it after its inactive for a while.
lol, I never knew it existed. It's nice to have options I guess, but I simply can't care about all the new posts that get posted on a daily basis.
I actually have VOT and VAC forum sections bookedmarked.
I also specifically have the Canucks thread bookmarked since at various times, it was literally the only thing that kept me using RS.
You are right that it SHOULD be in the sports section, but it has always been in the Off-Topic section. Anyone that uses this thread on a regular basis knows this. Even if not on a regular basis, it's been like that for over a decade.
I am also one that doesn't check new posts. I only roam around VAC and VOT with occasional checks to see if anyone posted in f'ed up shit what makes you laugh thread.
talks of comp picks if the league is unable to get the season going. for example, canucks would get a comp pick at end of 2nd rnd and end of 4th rnd for toffoli deal
nhl players have been told to prepare for workouts from May 15th.
from the looks of it they will be playing divisional games in 4 cities.
edmonton seems like the location for the pacific as the area around the arena can be locked down and has a big enough hotel for 7 teams, gyms, practice arena, food catering etc
minny, and carolina are 2 others that seem to have something going for them.
