sure if you make it very antisocial like no helping with tire swaps/no tool lending/no instructors

being on a closed circuit is on the lowest of priorities...season’s a write-off

^ not to mention no breaking anything. Getting your car towed home and having to walk wouldn't exactly be pleasant.

The Solberg Wold Cup in Dirt Rally 2.0 started today. I just got the game so I'm pretty crap but it's a heck of a lot of fun. You do need the DLC to get all the events needed FYI. https://www.oliversolberg.com/solbergworldcupintro

twitchyzero 04-12-2020 10:43 PM

motorsports carries an inherent risk too so if they're ordering the public to hold off on mountaineering/mtn biking then this should make sense

I wonder if any of the season ticket holder scalpers will still have a job. Obviously they ain't getting a refund on their tickets.... and they make money from flipping per game. I sure hope this gives normal a chance to buy regular tickets at legit prices.

twitchyzero 04-13-2020 12:05 AM

maybe there wont be concerts/ball games with a crowd after this and will be broadcoast/stream only

only for art house/comedy shows

some new covid-19 tests are coming out soon with results in less than an hour which should allow certain things to function again. They could test all the players and get sports going again at least over tv.

Made in Canada too. Also, they are only being sold in Canada.

Great news for any sort of “camp life” employment. Test, quarantine for a few hours and fly into the camp for weeks on end. It’s just them false negatives :heckno:

Garden shops like GardenWorks and Art Knapps are going to open again with restrictions in place. Woo Hoo!

If Home Depot is allowed to open their garden sections, they should be allowed, also.

Break-ins seems to be on the rise.

My apartment garage got broken into and my car and others got our windows smashed.

MG1 04-15-2020 07:45 AM

Because of this pandemic, I've turned into a bit of a germaphobe...........

I went to Wellwise yesterday and picked up one of these.

https://www.3blumin.com

I don't even have a CPAP, lol. I got it so I can zap any germs off my phone, keys, toothbrush, masks, watch, jewelry, etc. I use my P-100 mask a lot and I feel wiping it down with disinfectant wipes and Q-Tips ain't doing a good enough job. I rotate through three masks at the moment, so zapping them with UV light and putting them in a large Ziploc freezer bag for storage would be a good plan...........

Oh, I had close to 100,000 Optimum points, so I used them. Only had to pay about 4 bucks. This is what saving all those points are all about (20X points events, shopping at Loblaws stores, etc.). Plus, PC World Elite Mastercard helps.

https://www.wellwise.ca/products/lumin-cpap-sanitizer

On sale and limited supplies. They had about 6 left as of yesterday morning.

MG1 04-15-2020 12:04 PM

Good news for you RS alcoholics..........
