Maybe that's why I don't have Covid, yet. 16 years of living in the DTES. It pays off, gulolol. |
Man, lineups are getting shorter and shorter. I was at the Brighton Avenue Costco this afternoon. 5 minute line up, tops. Checkout was immediate. They had everything I wanted, too. I even purchased Hondaracer approved, TP. Hey! If it's good enough for his ass, it's good enough for mine. I'll probably not get to it in 30 years, but what can I say. I'm a dirty little Hoar der.......... |
Can't say the same for TnT, holy F, at Richmond Lansdowne, the line was out the door, the all the way to BCAA entrance... FALK... do people not know there are 2 other TnT just 5 minutes away. There are 5 more grocery stores with ZERO line up. I finished all my hot pot purchase before these guys are done lining up and glad I'm helping small businesses. |
This whole time, I still haven't had to line up at a grocery store. Save On Foods at Park and Tilford. I go after work typically. |

We went to Superstore once and felt lucky because there was no line outside the store. Lo and behold, there was a line that snaked all around the perimeter of the store inside to get to the checkout. Shuffled in line for 20 mins and distancing was questionable at most, we haven’t been back since lol yikes! |
Line-ups at Costco (Richmond) have been getting shorter and shorter week after week from my experience. The line up at the T and T at Lansdowne keep getting longer and longer, went once and never again. |
It's random days and times, I go grocery shopping around 2pm mid-week and there's no line-up. |

Although I think I miss the paper towels more, they are actually useful compared to this other shit I’ve bought |
But dat Bounty Commercial.......... when the ad first came out, they had grandma and a dog in it. Anyway, everyone is saying noooooo......... in slo-mo, as the wonton slides across the table. After everyone says their no’s, dog is under the end of the table saying, “yes........” as the huge piece of wonton miraculously falls right into his mouth. Gulolol. Back to Costco hours. Seniors hour is 8:00 to 9:00 am. Best time to go for Seniors is between 8:15 - 8:30. By 8:15, everybody is in and there’s little to no line up. Seniors are fucking slow. They take their time, so getting there at 8:30ish is perfect. No line up to pay. Oh, on Saturdays and Sundays, regular folk can get in at that time. When I got to Costco Willingdon today at 8:20, a young couple went right in. I was like, okay door guy, I know chick was kind of hot, but what gives? Dude’s like yeah, we let everybody in on weekends. Don’t spread the word too much or they may be forced to go back to separate lines again. |
Road rage/racism is coming out strong.. Buddy and I was making a left turn in a left turn lane and this guy starting just ripping his horn for no reason. Cars just finished crossing the intersection, so buddy was creeping out cause the other side had left turners too (blocking clear vision), and the guy behind us starts ripping his horn. Whatever, we drive off a few blocks and the guy pulls up on us. Starts yelling and swearing at us, we give him the fuck off's and he starts spitting the asian diseased comments.. shit got real quick lol. My buddy is about to get out the car and the trash drives off! Probably shouldn't have but we turned to tail him for couple blocks. The guy got scared, so he started ripping it turning corners and shit to try lose us. We let him go after.. but seriously what a fck twat.. shouldn't be pulling up on people if you aint gonna throw hands. For the record. I aint a confrontational or hot headed guy but if you come up on me and say a bunch of racist shit. My patience only goes so far. Anyone else experience something like this recently? |

Side note: the health canada lady said we can start gathering in groups up to 6 as long as we stick with the same 6. (not 6 different people each day). |
I've actually been staying home for the most part, aside from getting groceries and/or hitting up the liquor store. Haven't really been around people or the outdoors... Is this racism crap really happening that much more frequent? Is it generally females or seniors getting targeted, or are younger males being targeted as well? |
I'm a senior, and no sane punk gonna threaten me. I give them the Miyagi stare. If that doesn't work, I strike a pose. That usually works. Gulolol. Seriously, I've seen it happen to others. More than usual. Nothing major, but you can see it in people's faces. Anger and frustration. All it's gonna take is a reason to blow up at someone. Anyway, I'm not going to let it bother me. Remember to use............ "god bless." |

ultimately, someone is gonna take care of these people thinking its all cool to be racist to a madman of Asian heritage . |

OD guy was the one from the on the bus, when he kicked ripped out the hair of the women who spoke up for the two asian women he was harrassing. |
At Coquitlam Superstore charging the EV. Went to see what kind of line up there was. None to speak of. Haircut place was open. One person getting hair cut. Good ol’ Baghdad salon. |
I'm going to miss driving down the streets of Lynden, Ferndale, and Bellingham, Washington on Memorial Day weekend to see the wAnderfull displays they have. Oh, and the sales.......... |
why is Slifer failing all of MG's posts? you piss in his cornflakes old man??? what i miss? |
I've seen lineups at little Asian grocery stores on Kingsway, but never had to wait in line when I ventured out to shop at t&t, save on, hmart, or superstore, I go late though, like an hour before closing |
you know when bouncers artificially create a line-up but inside is pretty empty some of the stores been looking extra busy :troll: |
Oh, lookey here, RS mini-doughnut fans!!! https://www.pne.ca/a-taste-of-the-pne/ Each order comes with two free admission to next year's PNE opening day! Win! |
I love Seniors Hour at Costco. In and out in 15 minutes flat. No lineups at 8:40. Anyway, a whole pallet each of Hydrogen Peroxide and 99% Isopropyl Alcohol. It’s good till 2025. Good or at least two more pandemics, gulolol. This is at Willingdon location, btw. They still had quite a few non-surgical masks and oodles of gloves, as well. |
