grandma slice!? eyyyyy forgettttabbouttt itttt i grew up with Italians okay. REAL FUCKING ITALIANS along commercial st. before they all scampered away to north Burnaby. Thats where I developed my love of tank tops and pizza. EYYYY OOOooo, take it easy |
lol I've never met a Burnaby Italian that talks like that. I asked one straight up, they told me that's a NY/NJ stereotype https://i.pinimg.com/474x/81/37/87/8...f18af196fb.jpg IT'z Italian American Dizcimination I tell ya |
Pssshhh if you don’t embrace your stereotype you’re missing out on a lot of fun. |
oh god that looks good |

I've tried Peppino's in Detroit and had the exact same two pizzas Hondaracer shared. I found it to be a very heavy and loaded pizza. Would I consider it 10/10? Nope. |
Sounds like a personal problem bro I’m assuming you mean Vancouver when you said Detroit? Lol |
Dunno how authentic it is and it is def overpriced but the detroit style pies at Rewind Brewery are delicious. |
Yea so I’ve had rewind as well and it’s pretty good but those peppino ones are a next level up for sure For a brewery though they are very good For me, Greek style done well always seems to have the right balance, I think these two are from Neighbours (now johnnys I think?) on.. Cambie or Granville? Can’t remember https://i.imgur.com/pv5XKKd.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/T5pceUT.jpeg Not to be confused with “best neighbours” who also do a good pie lol |
Yeah I think it's just a thin crust vs thick crust preference. |
Yea I think it basically comes down to that Spent 4 days in Naples eating almost nothing but pizza and while obviously they have amazing ingredients and there were some technically 10/10 pizzas, neopolitan will never be my favorite. Places locally like via Tevere etc. I can take or leave, would never seek them out. Honestly I’d rather have pizza garden |

Pizza garden is good for a quick take out joint bit i always find their crust way too chewy. After one slice my jaw hurts |

I had neighbours fairly recently. Wasn’t totally thrilled (Commercial). But Greek style is the best feel good pizza forbsure |

Hit or miss, but generally yes. It's the oil, and the radioactive cheese they use. I have IBS so anything really oily can give me fits. That's why I'll only have Pizza Hut once or twice a year. I'll finish a whole medium, and in a few hours my body will reject the whole thing and shit it out :lol If we're talking pizza, Wild Flour is Burnaby is really good, sourdough crust pizza. Viva Sue Pizza in Burnaby is another one I'll go to once a year for that nostalgic greasy/cheesy mess (reminds me of elementary school). |

Nuff said. We all appreciate it. |
^:lol I love food too much, I'll sacrifice a few hours of pain for culinary heaven. A lesson to anyone with IBS, don't date a Filipina. Everything they cook is somehow doused in oil or deep fried entirely. She'd find a way to deep fry steamed vegetables. Her cooking is delicious, but while I'm dying later on in the night, she's sitting there happy as a pig in shit. I try to keep up with her when we go out and eat bullshit but to my own demise. Them flips have some bulletproof stomachs :lol |
That’s how you stay so cut and slim. I get it now. It’s the ibs!!! If I had ibs I’d just shit out all the oil and never absorb it into my fat corpse. Woe is me… I absorb everything. |
even TO have to have cards scanned now... i wonder what the rate of catching people nowadays without membership. |
