add some kirkland brie cheese to that above and its decadent

no need for the lime salt though, shit is already salty enough as is.

GLOW 12-10-2024 08:34 AM

OK so i figured out what was wrong with the smart plug, for whatever reason the remote lost contact / signal with the plug, so i had to "resync" the remote to the plug via the instructions FAQ... yes that was my last resort, reading the instructions :lol

Hmmm, maybe fresh squeezed lime then, need some tartness to cut the greasiness.

I use mine through the google home app integration and its been flawless. No need for remotes or batteries. Just say HEY DILDO! (still works instead of saying hey google) Turn off Tree

These types of devices I’m very hesitant to connect to my network lol

It’s just too far into that 3rd party Chinese manufacturing to trust it imo. These are the types of devices that allow network access imo

Badhobz 12-10-2024 12:09 PM

are you running an PP email server in your house? who gives a shit, nobody wants your god damn info you relatively broke ass honky.

Hondaracer 12-10-2024 12:16 PM

Moreso literally all my banking, investment, etc. info going through that same network some sketch light switch is on lol

You should always connect stuff like this to smart device or guest networks imo

I agree and that was always a line I used when I worked at Telus “are you important enough for anyone to care about?” lol

But stuff like this, I dunno I feel better just using the remote lol

underscore 12-10-2024 12:32 PM

I'm a nobody but I'm apparently still important enough that scammers keep calling all the time. And the dorks who run stuff like DDoS attacks don't care who you are, they just wanna be able to use your devices to fuck with other stuff.

Badhobz 12-10-2024 12:41 PM

reminds me of my dad, buddy has like all of 20k in his bank account and he thinks scammers are out to get this pocket lint. Changes his password so often on his banking shit that he forgets himself and locks himself out.

i keep telling him he's a fucking nobody and if somebody wanted to sell him dick pills for 20k, he should take it.

I picked up one of those smart plugs yesterday too so we can use them to control our patio lights which are attached to nothing more than an extension cord at the moment. Funny enough just saw it on a whim, didn't know it had been mentioned here. Great deal. I won't use the app either, the remote is what sold me.

I also got some outdoor extension cords. 2x50ft plus a short tri-plug for $50, then immediately returned the single 50-foot one I bought from Canadian Tire last week.

They had lots of scoop cakes there and while I'm sure it's tasty, it looked awful. White slop in a bucket with powdered cocoa on top for $23. No thank you.

For tiramisu, consider these ones. Pack of 6 glass jars of tiramisu for $12. They are great. https://sameday.costco.ca/store/cost...-tiramisu-6-ct

GLOW 12-10-2024 01:28 PM

those small glass ones are good, what's even better is that i use the glasses after. if you have kids they're a good sized 'cup'.

if you drink hard stuff, bigger than a shot glass :lol

bought the scoop cake thinking it would be similar to the glass jar ones.

not even close. never again.

After two scoops, the rest went into the freezer. Probably make a great ice cream. Add some Bailey's to it. Coffee over the frozen leftovers - Affogato?

I don't think it's even a proper tiramisu, ingredient wise. Haven't really checked the label.

My daughter has the 20" Pikachu and togepi but we could never find the snorlax in that size.

Didn't even know they had the 24" sizes until I saw it at Costco.

If anyone finds the 24" snorlax anywhere locally or online lmk!

It's low-key for me though lol. They make good pillows for the couch

Badhobz 12-14-2024 02:37 AM

You just want a sleepy fat guy to hug. I can help with that

keifun 12-14-2024 02:44 PM

Costco at Still Creek Willingdon was closed today due to power outage. The Brighton one was super packed.
I got what I needed and quickly GTFO

MG1 12-14-2024 03:47 PM

Power is back on at Willingdon.

spoon.ek9 12-15-2024 04:14 PM

Power was out at Coquitlam Costco after I left apparently. I left shortly before noon and got all my stuff and samples no problem lol. Got lucky.

N.V.M. 12-15-2024 05:23 PM

stupid power outage made Costco repack all the bbq chickens and store them then sanitize everything and start all over when if was safe.

underscore 12-15-2024 06:21 PM

I was bored so I stopped by the largest Costco in the world today. It wasn't an obscene amount larger than a normal one but still kinda neat to see sections I'd never seen before like commercial kitchen equipment. Strangely no hard liquor, just a small assortment of beer. Must be a Utah thing.

I didn't see any Kirkland branded swag but I did find these

Did someone want a Snorlax? Richmond Costco has I think two left, and it's not busy lots of parking.
