I did see the Fever Tree Ginger Beer at London Drugs. Also the Fever Tree Ginger Ale. They were on sale, too.

Ginger Beer is way stronger. It's more for men, whereas the ginger ale is for kids............ j/k

When I was a lad, there was this Golden Cockerel Inn ginger beer in bottles. I thought that was awesome, then these imports started showing up. Jamaican Ginger Beer.

Canada Dry owns the Golden Cockerel label here in Canada and it's in cans now.

PC Jamaican Style Ginger Beer. Pretty potent. I'm not a spice kind of guy. Obsideon will say it's like peach juice. LOL.

I've yet to find a good Ginger Beer that isn't hella sweet, and I've tried so many.

I need a nice one with less than 15g of sugar for my Whiskey Gingers.

Make you own......... can't be that hard can it?

Oh, crap, why didn't I think of that?

I grew up before computers were invented, or at least available to average joe.......... damn, the Internet is so wAnderful. Far outweighs the negative. I'm going to search for recipes now.

I was introduced to a Dark and Stormy (basically a whiskey ginger) when I was doing keto. Obvs that would throw me out of ketosis, but I had to find a low sugar/low carb ginger beer. I came across Rootside over on the island. They make a Ginger Beer concentrate with 8g carbs (6g sugar)/serving. It's still not keto friendly, and I haven't tried it, but I've been meaning to try it.

Let me know how it is, if you do try it. Doc says I gotta keep away from liqs for a bit LOL

While on ginger beer, has anyone seen DIET ginger beer made by Stoli anywhere? Yes, the same Stolichnaya that makes Vodka.

I had them before and I thought they were amazing for a low cal drink.

Yeah, saw the buns at the Brighton Avenue Costco yesterday. Not that many left but still $9.95.

Got em. Stronger than Rubbermaid and holds up to stacking better.

Couldn't find my usual nitrile gloves, in the auto section. Are they out or did they move them to a different section, since Covid?

Also, found 2 jugs of Kirkland full synthetic, for $35. Good deal if your car burns a bit of oil.

Secret, like anything Costco that is in demand.............. call. They field calls starting 8:00 am. Ask when next shipment comes in. They can tell you when if it's in transit (2 days). Then you call them the day it is supposed to arrive. They will let you know when to come in.

Meanwhile, RS Costco Crew (formerly, RS beatdown crew - but never really happened) will be on the look out and let you know. Hell, if I see them, I'll get some for you. How many pallets of the shit would you like? LOL. I don't even go look for them since I purchased two Kirkland USA 200 pair packs. I'm good for a while, lol.

Call them and press 1 for administration. It's basically the folks at the small desks by the cashiers.

BTW, Brighton Location has self scan stations - except people are always manning it and actually do it for you. Line up is quicker than the regular line ups.

Quite the opposite here in Toronto.

When you ask them when item XYZ is coming in, they will just blurt out some random time/day and send you on your way. Things like Kirkland toilet paper and stuff like that (high demand items) they'll straight up just say "I don't know. Come back tomorrow morning at opening."

Called the Brighton Avenue Costco just now and the lady said that they've made their way to the Lower Mainland. Should be in tomorrow, but call before heading to the warehouse.

They're the 2x150 pair boxes, right?

If they've made it to the Lower Mainland, some of the other stores might have received it already. Probably talking about some distribution centre if there's such a place?

Nitrile gloves are super "handy"..

I use them all the time from greasing bearings / door hinges / trailer hitches, cleaning rodent traps around the house (I kill many a rat and dont wanna touch them or the traps), and as a hunter, indispensable when cleaning large game.

Love the Costco nitrile gloves, I've been buying them for years.

Hand sanitizers dry up your skin, btw. Ask any mechanic and they’ll tell you the effects synthetic oils and toxic substances has on your hands. Look under a magnifying glass and check out what gets embedded in your skin.

Even under normal situations, regular washing with hand soap can irritate the skin of those with eczema or sensitive skin to the point of getting cracks or rashes. Hand sanitizers have the same effect.

I remember laughing back when sanitizer was selling out everywhere because the hand lotion was still fully stocked. Buncha noobs out there didn't know how fried repeatedly sanitizing/washing makes your hands.

Those gloves really are good for everything though, I use them for all kinds of stuff. Be careful using them with some chemicals, I found they started reacting with Lysol toilet cleaner and started giving off fumes that I assume aren't exactly healthy.
