Reminds me of the 2004 playoffs, Canucks vs Flames game 7.. Cooke ties it with 5 seconds to go in the game, and the crowd is going INSANE... It felt like an earthquake was going off, people were CRYING and celebrating non stop during the intermission before overtime

That was awesome to watch, Jovo going mental in the penalty box lol
Extra painful too because Gelinas was one of my favourite players on the Canucks and they had let him go at a time when young me thought they should have have (not sure what their reason was not to re-sign him) and then he scored that goal against us. Ugh.

Full marks for the Kings in winning game 5.
They outplayed the Coilers for most of the game.
It came down to MCDavid and Draisaitl stepping up only in the third period to tie the game.

I was in the upper bowl above where Cooke scored basically behind the net
Random hugs from strangers all around us were definitely taking place lol. I saw the bad omen though that foretold the end lol. I actually got into a discussion with Alex Auld on twitter about this because he said it didn’t happen but I can remember it as clear as day
Back then they used to do a little warm up before OT, a flame player shot the puck down on auld and it went into the net between his legs unknowingly. He said that would never happen bla bla but I’m almost certain I saw it and had a bad feeling after that lol

Just woke up, so I missed the Rangers game that seems like it was a good one.
Also Florida is now up 4-3 so that must have been a good game too! Watching it now...
Too bad their fans suck so bad, they aren't making ANY noise at all right now with 5 minutes left, and the shitty broadcasters are just talking about nonsense
This is why I am cheering the Canadian teams. The American fans of some teams just don't care that much. I feel bad for the Preds, they have good fans.

Nope the Avs are leaps and bounds better then any other team playing right now. This extra week break they have while every other team is grinding close to a full series as well will really help them in the next rounds.
