These affordable payload carrying drones change the entire landscape of how war is fought, and how it will be fought in the future.
It really evens the battlefield for countries with smaller GDPs, and the lack of ability to invest in their military in a traditional sense. Some predict this will cause a lot of issues in the future once we start seeing them utilized more broadly in smaller country to country conflicts and civil wars.

I’m surprised to see tanks/people on the ground…. I’m expecting just drones/artillery. Sure it’s changed, but not nearly as much as I had thought it would.

I was also surprised... but now I just think it's mostly playing out like this cuz Russia's military just kinda sucks?
Or they were forced into doing it this way because they want to control the country, so they need to occupy. Still seems extremely crude.
