What the fuck is putins end game here ? Just taking over the southern regions doesn’t seem like it’s worth all the death / global ostracism. It doesn’t really add any security for Russia from NATO. If anything it’s pushing more countries into natos arms. This guys a fucking idiot. He needs to go. |

In his original plans, this "special military operation" was only supposed to last a few weeks, and then it'll be done. But after 1+ year of war, he has no meaningful result to show -- Bakhmut has no strategic value anymore because it is basically just a pile of rubble now. They have not really gained any meaningful territories from the war, and without any sort of "gains", Putin can't justify to anyone -- including himself -- how the war can be stopped since they have poured in and wasted all these resources over the past 1+ year. He obviously doesn't care about the loss of lives for his own Russian citizens, and if there are protests, the protesters get arrested and thrown into jail (or worse). And so the fighting drags on. |
So now what ? Wagner seems to be rebelling too. I got a feeling this will all end with Putin getting a bullet in the head and the whole Russia unraveling into a civil war and strong men fighting for power. |
If we look back into recent-ish history, there are many different ways these dictator bad guys can die: - Saddam Hussein was caught and sentenced to death - Milošević was caught / extradited to UN, but died before the trial concluded - Gaddafi got caught by rebel fighters and gang-beat to death - Kim Jong Il died from a heart attack while he was still in power in DPRK - Hitler committed suicide - Mao died a slow and painful death due to multiple ailments over a long-ish period So who knows how things will end for Putin on a personal level? In theory, he can remain cooped up in Kremlin forever until his death due to natural causes, or he can get his brains blown out like you said by some unexpected person. |
Hitler didn't kill himself... |

He didn't kill himself you idiots. He's in Argentina right now running the world's oil companies, and the coming of the New World Order. |
RUSSIA - UKRAINE - war or posturing? Definitely war https://www.cnn.com/europe/live-news...-23/index.html Security has been stepped up around Moscow and in the city of Rostov near southeast Ukraine, state media reported. Things get really interesting now. I think that Putin and his family are legimately scared about what Wagner can do to him. -probably calling leaders in African countries or the Syrian government to take him in as a guest. His escape plan. Opinion piece: https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/20/opini...tti/index.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Live report here at BBC, which also recaps how they got to where they are now. TLDR: Wagner chief with 50K troops hates the rest of Russia's military, who he recently accused of firing a rocket strike too close to them, killing many of their troops. He said they're leaving Ukraine to go back to Russia to rid the military of evil. He's also been saying Putin's reason for invading Ukraine was based on a lie. Apparently some Russian TV channels have been hacked to put out his statements. And now here we are. Neither video has been confirmed, but here are the latest: Edit: Wagner claiming the first video is real, that they shot down the helicopter after it opened fire on their "civilians" The coup might finally happen Here we go I guess |
|
Lukashenko maybe retreating Belarus while he can? Double coup? |
|
In they go This is surreal |
Moscow is that way ^ https://i.imgur.com/dfqNWb0.png By taking Rostov, Wagner can essentially end Russia's war on Ukraine. They can pretty much completely shut down the supply route to the areas where Russia has control. |
|
This might happen very fast actually, if this ends up being true |
More unconfirmed |
I wonder if it's us funded. In Soviet Russia Ukraine invades you |
This is insane |

I'm sure this guy isn't a "good guy" but unlike Putin he seems to actually have Russian's citizens well being on his mind. But he says he will go back to the front lines once he takes care of the MOD lol |
Good ... finally. I hope Prigozhin crushes Putin's ballz. So who is Ovechkin going to side with now? |
Waiting for someone to tweet it, but Wagner allegedly put out a video of Prigozhin at the MOD building they entered a few hours ago (in one of the videos I posted earlier) Edit: here it is. He is apparently meeting with the Deputy Defense Minister right there. That would explain why there's no fighting :ahwow: He's saying he wants Gerasimov and Shoigu, and until they meet him he is going to continue the blockade of Rostov, and head to Moscow Gerasimov of the MOD who he is going after, reportedly fled the building before they arrived, and is hiding somewhere in the city ALL this is unconfirmed, keep in mind |
That took a turn. I'm not sure for better or for worse, but almost as surprising as the invasion itself. |
