Seems like when there's so much adrenalin going and the GK wants to make a heroic save, he's going to gamble and dive. As a shooter, instead of playing 50/50, just send it down the middle. Easier to execute under pressure too.

Getting eliminated from the tournament through PK is such a terrible and bullshxt way to determine the victor.

Huge props for Croatia for playing tough against Brazil. They defend well.

Neymar scored a beautiful goal. Croatia fight back to tie the game.

Congrats to Croatia! Tough mental strength of this team! Bye, bye Brazil!

They were perfect in penalty kicks.

The Croatian goalkeeper made some clutch saves in regular time and in the PK. The man of the match.

Wow, those penalty kicks were so well placed to the corners. They went in even when the GK's guessed the right side.

What in the fuck just happened! I thought the game ended 1:0 Brazil, I went n got ready for bed (I'm in Japan atm) and I've got BBC news on in the washroom and it's like "breaking news Brazil is out of the WC" what in the hell! I stopped at like 108 mins thought it ended with a whistle that was blown wow I thought Brazil was taking it this year

There's two 15 min halves in OT, and it's not sudden death.
Croatia tied it in the 2nd half of OT.

Intense, intense games today. Nail-bitingly intense and entertaining, esp if you are cheer for one particular side. In the end, I still think it suck ballz to determine a victor thru PK.

Ronaldo just lost his last chance to win a World Cup haha.

Morocco kept Portugal back with their defence. -scored on the counter attack.

CR7 just had one scoring chance in the match.

Morocco hasnt conceded a goal yet in the Tournament I beleive. CR7 didnt play the whole game. Hes been riding the bench the last two games. Maybe that was an error by the coach because when he was playing he had some great setups and chances.

France beats England. The English had their chances in this game.

-big fail for Harry Kane on missing the net on that penalty kick. -surprised that he chose to kick the ball high instead of going for a lower kick toward either corner of the net.
