Kraken/Stars is one of those tight games that seems like it'll go into OT at 0-0 or 1-1 Edit: And right when I say that the Kraken take the lead! :awwyeah: Aww shit it hit the defender right in the face, didn't notice that |
My jinx worked! :awwyeah: |

There will be plenty tears if the Leafs lose the next one. They gather outside the Scotiabank theatre to watch so they can cry together. |

sweep all the way. you guys need to think about the suffering long term. to look back later and forever remember the sheer humiliation of being swept after all these years in the making of the most stacked team ever and not even making it past the first round. |

And how about the Kraken totally wiping out the Stars at home! POGGERS |
Kraken soon to have more cups than the canucks? :heckno: |
Honest question from someone who has only partially been able yo pay attention to hockey for years now. Are the Kraken legitimately pretty good or is this a bit of lightning in a bottle. I remember when the Knights came in and I was like who are these bums then they shocked the world. Some of the guys on the team were young prospects who I had no idea about. The Kracken have more (I think) guys who have been around but were not exactly amazing I.e. Eberle, McCann etc Honesty just curious what the read on them is from the general hockey public. |
Kraken are actually good, because despite no star forwards, they have a lot of quality players at depth, along with great goaltending by Groobs. So basically same as what Vegas did. Kind of the opposite of the Leafs and Oilers really (and Lightning, Bruins and Avs, who are all out). I don't know if it's the right recipe to win a Stanley Cup - Vegas never went all the way either - but it seems to be doing OK for them so far. Most important to me is that they are fun as hell to watch, and easy to root for. I'm glad Seattle has a team to root for after losing the Sonics (took long but they got it) and wish them all the success. It's going to be hard for me to choose who to root for if it's Kraken vs Oilers in the western finals. |
Kraken play a tight system, if they weren’t playing the Av’s the games would not be as entertaining imo |
Just for shitz and giggles, the Leafs Forum board - https://forums.hfboards.com/threads/...eries.2927796/ Fanbase in the six, understandably, are disgusted and wants Shanahan, Dubas, Keefe, Marner, Matthews, Tavares, and Nylander all gone. :lol If there was a way to trade or give away the core for the 1st draft pick to get Bedard, the Leafs should. But no one would want this group of overpaid pylons. I am a Leafs hater but am honestly shocked at how inept those 4 are. All common sense would point that after so much failure, they would eventually grow some ballz but they were so terrible in game 3, down 0-2 ... zero fight, playing on edge, scared shitless that they would go 0-3 and here we are. |
The Official 2022/2023 Canucks & NHL Thread The Leafs, especially their core of Matthews, Tavares, Marner, and Nylander, are playing with no heart. They deserve to be swept in the second round. Their top four “stars” have scored no goals against the Panthers. They suck so bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I noticed that Nylander often performs like 50% of a great move, either a deke or an amazing pass attempt, but never with any finish. All flash and no substance pretty much He and Tavares have negative chemistry |

They're playing other top loaded teams - Avs, Stars... Maybe the Oilers next.. If this system works against that kind of team (including Devils and Canes), they might have a good chance. Less so against the Panthers or Knights I guess. |

Draft lottery in about 4 hrs ... who's going to win big? Generational talent on the board. |
who ever it is it won't be the Canucks |
Won’t be surprised if we drop spots or don’t move at all, that’s the norm for here |
Bettman should rig it for the Canucks. One of the biggest market in the league and missed out on playoffs revenue for how many years? |
If he's going to rig it for anyone it would be Chicago |

If we were a place like LA where there's multiple NFL and NBA teams to compete with, that's where the guy running the whole league is thinking to give them a few wins. |

Apparently the Canucks got fined $50k by the NHLPA for having players participate in voluntary on-ice workouts with the Sedins after the season ended... if there's a way for the NHL to fuck with the Canucks they'll do it I swear |
