I mean there is still time. If Chicago Blackhawks fans really care that much about the sex assault scandal, they could boycott the team say for the 23/24 season. That would send a clear message to the NHL and the team that we will not tolerate this kind of behavior. But they just sold out their arena, so nobody really cares.

Life move fast. Everybody wants to ride the woke train or whatever it is that's the current latest trend to "care" about. But even I'm guilty of forgetting this incident altogether until it was brought up again.

While I strongly support the idea Chicago should have been punished, I can't say it was on the top of my mind during the draft... cause simply more shit has happened around the world since.
