Carolina’s players are gonna be gassed for game 2 too. The players legs probably feel like mashed potatoes after playing over six periods of hockey in game 1.

Although the Florida players will also be tired, winning game 1 will give them a mental edge over the Carolina players. An extra boost of confidence heading into game 2.

Sounds like Dubas wanted full autonomy and that was the deal breaker.

My guess is Dubas already knew exactly what he wanted to do and management wouldn't allow it: Ship out Matthews.

The Panthers are like cockroaches ... even after that 1st period onslaught by Carolina, they still walk away winning 2-1.

It does feel a little bit like destiny for some unknown reason.

WOW crazy game already. Knights score in 1 minute, and then a few seconds later Jamie Benn does the Bertuzzi move on Mark Stone, cross checking him on the throat, and gets a game misconduct

HA then the Stars get a 2 on 1 shorty chance, Aiden makes the save, then the Knights turn and score
