I've always thought that starting the series as visiting team is better than being home. If you're home, you have the pressure to win. As visitor, you just have to steal one game and then you're off to a great start. Take the first 2 games and then go back to your own home ... you're on top of the world.

That said, LA was the most dangerous of the bottom seeded teams no matter who they faced so I really wouldn't be surprised if they end up making it to round 2. It would be pretty Edmonton Oilers like if McDavid averages 2 points or more per game but they end up losing.
