Should've waited to offer EP40 that contract |
The Official 2023/2024 Canucks & NHL Thread Mad props to the team. They fought hard to the end of the game. Valuable lessons and experience earned from the playoff run. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Great effort on the Canucks, impressed with the overall poise, coaching, and some gamers - Boeser, JT Miller, Zadorov, Garland, Silov. The playoff stage wasn't too big for this group. Went deep to 2 rounds. Canucks needed this for the next step. Future is good for this young group. |

GG everyone, it was a great series. |
Is Murdoc starting the new thread |
Thank you canucks for an entertaining season. |
LET'S GO DALLAS!!!! |
if we had gone quietly into the night, this would have been hard to swallow. but you could tell they gave it everything they had left in them. missing #1 goalie missing #2 goalie missing #1 goal scorer not many teams would take Edmonton to 7 freaking games in that position. considering how high the odds were stacked against us, this team did fucking amazing. really wish they could have gone further but man, resiliency can only take you so far when you're missing so many key players. so proud of this team and all that they accomplished. there's SO much to look forward to next season. let's not forget, we finally have good coaching and competent management. i'm not sure what kind of contract magic they can come up with, but if there's a group i trust, it's this current one. huge, huge strides made in just one, single season. bravo canucks! |

No one, even the fans thought we would be where we are at the beginning of the season. Overall good season for the Canucks. Lets see what management does this off season. So what's your prediction for WCF? I take Dallas in 6 |

^ would be a ballzy move but needed if this team wants to move past round 2. You don't want to be like the Leafs ... years into a Mitch Marner as a playoff passenger. |
You guys want to gut the team already? |

Big win. Silovs is a fuckin wall. Such a great run for him. I have to say, even though canucks have one of the most annoying fanbases in the history of sports ( the bandwagoneers, not real hockey fans for the most part), the team itself was awesome to watch and there is tons of talent and class on the team. I can't wait for everyone who's never put skates on to stop playing sports analyst for the year. The same dipshits doing it in edmonton next series I'm sure but I'm far enough away I don't have to listen to it and can just watch the games in peace. |
no riot? |
i dont watch hockey, but does this mean no more 4 dollar big macs until next season!?!? |

The core of this group is solid. Demko, Hughes, Miller, Petey, Boeser. Just need to work on some better support. GM and coach are capable |
i dun wanna be like those 90year old Cubs fans when they won the world series... sigh... https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...772af83d69e1f& |
The Official 2023/2024 Canucks & NHL Thread These should be the top priorities for GM Allvin in the offseason: Sign Zadorov. Big Z was a beast in the playoffs! He scored goals and made his presence felt against Nashville and Edmonton with his big body checks. -great to see a big D-man with a mean streak playing for our team. His big hit on that rat Kane into the Coilers bench was gold hahha. Sign Dakota Joshua. Unsung hero of the team. Big improvement in his game this season and the playoffs. Daks has great chemistry with Garland and Lindholm. The man deserves a big raise on his next contract. Philip Hronek. Hmm. He is a free agent. -depends how much money Hronek and his agent are asking on a new contract. He had a career season due in part of playing with Hughes. If he wants to be paid more than Hughes, let him sign with another team. Mikheyev. My gosh, a pressure packed game 7 showed all Canucks fans that this useless piece of shit that he cannot do many things well! Mikheyev cannot score goals in the playoffs especially in a game 7. Soft on the boards as he will not go hard for the puck. Lack of physical play from him. Allvin needs to find a trade partner who is willing to take Mikheyev. Heck, the Canucks might have to retain some salary to get rid of this useless tool. What the team needs is more size and speed in our top six forwards. What I noticed in this series against Edmonton is that when our forwards tried to get loose pucks at the boards in the Coilers zone, the Coilers d men and forwards won many of the puck battles. For example, Petey’s play along the boards in the Coilers zone to get loose pucks is just not good enough. I noticed Petey falling on to the ice a few times when he was trying to get loose pucks. As great of a skilled player Petey is, his lack of size does not help him in getting loose pucks along the boards. The team needs a power forward who is a good skater to play on our top lines. A new player to replace Mikheyev. A power forward who has the ability to get loose pucks along the boards in the offensive zone and be a good screen in front of the opposing goalie’s net. Perhaps a prospect player that Allvin can trade for in return for trading Mikheyev. I realize that the trade value for Mikheyev is not high. Hence, if Allvin does manage to trade Mikheyev, the team may have to retain some salary whether Allvin trades him in the offseason or during the next season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Petey should focus on doing a cycle in the offseason and coming back 20lbs heavier |
