As for the chicken, it got smaller than pre-covid, but they kind of make up for it slightly by giving you extra pieces whenever we go there

But yeah, it doesn't taste quite as good as b4. but we still don't mind going there

oh and for the ppl going there for the first time, do NOT order the regular chicken and ALWAYS go for the spicy/extra crispy. it's not even spicy but taste way better than the regular

I’m sure per gram the berries are more but honestly how much berries can you eat. They aren’t even good off season. All the blue blue are from South America right now and they taste like shit. The skin is plasticky and insides are sour.

It's that expensive now?! I've planned for doing two dinners about 8 people each. I was going to go to Costco tomorrow cause this thread reminded me of something important.

I've never been a big fan of holidays. My family has never done anything for holidays (or birthdays) so it's just another day. This is likely because we were too poor to do so. With that being said, I've come to realize the holidays isn't really about the glamour (despite everyone's IG story looking like it).

I think this year I've (unintentionally) focused more on spending time with people I love and those that appreciate me. I no longer spend time or effort on people who can't give me the time of day. This includes people who don't reach out, reply, or actually commit to plans instead of "lets go ___ sometime" (aka never). For the holiday season, despite it being relatively tight for me, I want to treat those around me with a steak dinner. I think it's important to me to celebrate these moments.

i mean a half pint of berries for $7 is like $14/lb. when you can buy them for $2-3lb in season that's a crazy markup. if it's just to finish your salad then sure, but i wouldn't buy them just to snack on a few dozen berries.
also i'm not a huge raspberry guy but i can easily eat over 1lb of blueberries in a sitting in the summertime

i used to live within walking distance to LA chicken, that's definitely her. maybe i'm getting old but she cleans up kinda ok? never thought i'd be saying that. she kinda gives you an intense look when you are talking to her that always weirded me out, but they almost always give you an extra piece and back in those days i could get a 3pc combo for like maybe $11-12.

Yeah man. She cleans up pretty good. She looked even better like 10 years ago but she was always just covered in chicken grease.

I'm immune to this berry eating you are discussing... mostly because I have some kind of weird allergic reaction to raspberries and, randomly, blueberries... like it feels like knives are being stabbed into my stomach after I eat either of them and then things get explosive.
