Kind of crazy that Jets got pushed to the brink last night. I only watched the highlights but they did not look good at all.

So Foote is the Canucks new head coach and Tocc is Phillys. All I know is if Hughes is happy with Foote being the man I'm happy with it. Good call for the Canucks announcing the hire at the same time so it distracts the fan base from Tocc leaving.

I think going with Foote is a good choice in the interim! Familiar with system, cup winning defenseman and also not someone you could consider is "old boy's club".

Hoping Manny stays with Abby and waits in the wings in case things don't work out with Foote. He's done an amazing job in Abby, definitely deserves a look as head coach in the future.
