Edmonton has the same chance regardless who's in net. They haven't completely sucked, but either one aren't going to steal games. Both goalies combined make less than a typical starter goalie's salary.

Don't get me wrong, I might talk shit about Canada, but I love Canada because I love my childhood. Truly humbled, I acknowlege the privilege of being able to grow up in such an amazing place(Cambie and 22nd in Vancouver) during its golden age.(80's-90's)

But this is the breaking of Canadian hockey, this is the Bane breaks Batman's back moment. As much as I want to cheer on the Oilers, this game is more about sending a message that American teams are simply on another level, just like industry, culture, everything. Americans outclass Canadians at everything they do.

This is a fact, and it is about to be reflected in our biggest sport.

Both teams have about the same number of Canadian players. Florida's best players are Canadian

Too much politics for me. I don't see it as that. Sure Tkachuk gets another cup. But Canadians like Marchand, Bennet, and Reinhart also get to lift another cup. A bunch of Florida Panther players get their name etched in the cup, regardless where they're from.
