Thank you for clarifying that. I was thinking to myself, isn't it OBD2? Only to realize, thanks to you, OBD11 (eleven) is something else altogether.

Can also buy credits to do whatever it is you want to do instead of the subscription, on the new units. I have the old one that did not require the sub/credits.

+1000. Everything about running a motorcycle is way cheaper and higher performance than on a car. It even takes care of the storage issue! You can easily squeeze a bike into an existing parking space.

And the only thing it costs in return, is higher risk of injury. But that's risk to you and not even anyone else! It's win-win-win.

From a decade ago - good times :

Makes no sense. I also have a Toyota Corolla. But that’s the superior car by far… the few brilliant moments in Toyota sports car history.

What do you think of the RS660? I almost bought an Aprilia Tuareg 660 recently but went with a used bike instead.

I think they share engines in different tune!

I fucking love the bike! I was set on going with a ZX-6R (or ondukes Monster ) but one test ride did it all. The RS660 wasn't even seriously on my radar until I went window shopping

It's got more than adequate power for me, really a pleasant experience going through corners. Riding position is also not too aggressive compared to R6, GSXR-750, etc. Power comes sooner compared to the high revving inline 4's which make it more enjoyable when just riding around instead town. The NVH coming from a parallel twin might be annoying for some but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. Kinda like having polyurethane engine mounts haha.

Did a novice TSD rally. It was chaotic - organizers made quite a few errors in the routebook instructions and distance numbers, our app didn't work right, and other stuff.

Still fun.
