What a monster.

I want to one up him and snort my protein next time but I’m afraid I’ll die.

that's disgusting lol. it's also exactly the kind of thing that make people not want to get started on changing their food because of extreme examples like this.

personally, I love the leanfit vanilla whey. it goes very well with my oats and tastes perfectly fine that way. also, I used to mix it into a smoothie and that tasted good too. add some frozen fruits to your mix and it'll taste way better. the thought of drinking any whey protein with just water mixed in already makes me wanna puke a bit.

making an actual food item with it as an ingredient is much smarter

Don't all of you doofuses eat your protein dry? :seriously: :troll:

Joking aside - for those of you who have tried Leanfit Vanilla and Optimum Nutrition: If Optimum Nutrition is 10/10 mixed with say water or milk or what have you, where would you rate Leanfit Vanilla on the scale?

Prolly like 6.5/10. Doesn't mix as easy with just a shaker bottle and also taste is not great.

That said I only drink it with water.

Badhobz 07-02-2025 04:06 PM

Mixing anything with just water sounds marginally better than this spoony fuck at the gym.

Yuck

I mix mine with homo juice. I mean milk.

My plan was to use 6 nic, then mix the equiv to 4.5 nic, then go down to 3 nic. They unforutnately don't make nicotine free juice anymore, so I'll have to go cold turkey following 3 nic, but it'll be much more achievable than from 20 salt nic.

Alright, I've mixed down to 1-2mg/ml now but it's getting quite difficult LOL. I'm a lot more groggy and cranky throughout the day. I purchased 0.1mg/ml juice, which is pretty much flavored air and it's making me angry.

Less than two months left to go but I think I can do it.

In other news, I've been making a habit of going on a walk after I eat dinner now. I do about a 2hr walk or until I hit 10km. Not bad. I quite enjoy it - I'm trying to find new reasons to appreciate more of what we have here in BC and fortunately in Delta, I have a lot of green space to explore.

I don't think I could do a walk or jog on pavement, but I'd happily do it on a trail (prob cause of tree cover). 10km isn't too bad either, I've been doing it daily since last Saturday and it's pretty manageable - there's maybe 100m of elevation change (I live on a hill) and that's the most grueling part.

Badhobz 07-07-2025 02:54 PM

10k?!?! A day ?!?!? You’re gonna wear out your adidas crossclimate 2s!!!! Make sure you rotate your shoes.

Gerbs 07-07-2025 04:53 PM

I've been averaging 11,000 steps a day with WFH. If I don't actively try to walk, I'll easily do 500-1,500.

I was gonna attempt a 100,000 step + 10,000 calorie day in Japan haha

westopher 07-07-2025 05:16 PM

Is that even possible? I thought like 50-60k steps was realistically as much as someone could do at a fast walking pace.
Most I’ve ever done was like 39k and it was awful haha.

Gerbs 07-07-2025 05:33 PM

You go allllllllllllll dayyyyyyyyyyyy

BIC_BAWS 07-07-2025 07:53 PM

Oops, I meant to say 10,000 steps or 10KM.

In agreement with Gerbs that I actively have to try to get steps in, otherwise I get like 30 steps in a day LOL.

Jokes on you Hobz, I'm wearing flat cole han sneakers. They suck balls for walking. I need to shop for some trail running shoes sigh. I hate the idea of spending money on clothes LOL.

Badhobz 07-07-2025 08:53 PM

Try Kirkland retreaded walking shoes. You wear them out and replace it for free.

If you are looking to continue walking like this (kudos to you) I highly recommend getting a good set of shoes and consider getting professionally made insoles (not Dr. Scholl's!) This will protect your body in the long term and prevent chronic issues such as backaches, posture, nerve damage etc.

supafamous 07-08-2025 06:35 AM

If you fit Nikes well the outlet stores offer fantastic deals on all their shoes. I was able to pick up a set of trainers (Metcon 5) for a $100 and they are great (my trainer actually went and got a pair after I told him how little it cost - he said it was too good a deal to pass up for that kind of shoe).

Badhobz 07-08-2025 06:50 AM

Nah mang, according to hippie dippie white fucks that run marathons at work, you’re suppose to wear these barefoot thingys that basically feel like a sock and use your feet ala subsaharan Africans. Eventually you’ll develop a sole so thick that you can chase down a gazelle and hunt lions.

Uhhhhh… chase down gurpreet and manmeet.

Isn’t this the same philosophy as those tiny tiny bicycle seat that barely supports your pelvic bone? You know the one that looks like it does absolutely nothing and it would probably get enveloped in my butt cheeks.

In case it helps anyone, I did a cost comparison of Canada Day protein sales

https://i.imgur.com/2mgG35v.png

Yes its not the cleanest % of protein but price per protein gram the Leanfit Concentrate at Costco still the best deal.

ON Whey on sale at Costco, vanilla for $69.99 per bag, chocolate for $89.99 per bag (premium due to cacao prices)

Cost per gram of protein is less than all other ones on the above list except for leanfit ($0.036 per gram for ON vs $0.34 per gram for Leanfit)

However ON blends way better, has better macros, and tastes better so it's worth the slight premium.

no way can i do that. i need ot get a walking pad.

spoon.ek9 07-09-2025 12:27 PM

Between walking to work (~20 min each way), 30 min walk during break, and the small amount of walking during my shift, I'm hitting 10-12k each day pretty easily. Even on my off days I make an effort to reach 10k.

Walking pad is great cuz you can just plant it in front of your tv and walk while you watch something. Easiest way to burn calories and reach your step count.

100K steps isn't possible :lol

I try to cycle 40 kms in the summer 3 times a week for cardio outside of the gym.

I've been watching that Tour De France show on Netflix and seeing the stages with 180+ kms with crazy elevation makes me feel like a lazy bitch.

CivicBlues 07-09-2025 12:59 PM

Yeeaaah 100K steps in one day is like fuck yourself up and can't move for a week afterwards day.

Most I ever got was ~ 40K steps climbing Kilimanjaro. But that was getting up at midnight climbing up to the summit and then down to camp the same day ending around 10pm.

One of the guys who I went up with he showed me a 100K day on his fitbit when he was back home and he said it killed him afterwards couldn't walk the next day. And he was in his early 20s, rugby player, etc.

bcrdukes 07-09-2025 02:14 PM

100KStepsMA

Badhobz 07-09-2025 02:16 PM

Why don’t you people see who can do the least amount of steps per day ? I think my lowest was 500.

Hondaracer 07-09-2025 02:42 PM

One day on our recent trip we did 28,000 steps. Basically walking from 10am till 9pm never stopping for more than lunch a beer etc.

The most I’ve ever seen my step counter was a day in Disneyland and it was like 38,000 and that was walking from 7am till like 10pm outside of riding rides etc.

100,000 seems almost impossible unless you walk the entire 24 hours never stopping for more than a few minutes. You’d probably walk 35+ kilometres. Like Vancouver to Abbotsford or Chilliwack

I walk pretty fast and I have a walk I do up into Burnaby heights and back home, I walk pretty fast and it takes about 75 minutes to walk 9,000 steps at a very brisk pace, so 10 hours of that lol

Badhobz 07-09-2025 04:44 PM

man fuck your weird flex about walking fast. i waddle around.. more like a fuck (once again thanks autocorrect) than a human.

68style 07-10-2025 08:14 AM

Buddy said he hit 60k steps on his Fitbit watch once and we all knew he jerked it to porn for like 4hrs that day
