this page is very much not what I expected to read while at work fellas |
Anyone ever get a Dexa scan? Who did you use? Was it useful? Got curious as my trainer is getting one done as he's doing a bulk right now. |

The only way to mitigate that is to drop more weight, but even then, you may never be as "lean" as you were in your early 20s, hormonal changes take a big part in that. You can definitely work on your lower abs to tone that area, and correct posture so that your hips don't "push" out the stomach, giving that bloated look to the lower stomach. T2Bs (toes to bars) and static holds/hollow body holds are great to force correct your core, bringing that lower back more flat, and therefore pulling that stomach in, giving a better look. |
or you know... just eat a bucket of chicken. |
don't forget to load up on the steaks too eh? lol |

Bucket of chicken only good for 6'2+ folks |
i started working out 2 months ago and somehow i gained like 9lbs. highly doubt that's all muscle lol. i dont feel like i really changed my diet except i guess i am drinking a protein shake w/ all the fixins. now i have to try to cut a little bit to get closer to my normal weight around 165. geez man i started working out to feel better and look better and now im getting fatter and that feels bad. |
When I first started working out when I was overweight, I gained 15lbs before my weight started to drop. I went from 185lbs to 200lbs before sliding back down to 180 over a year. I also cut my carbs hard during that time though. |

I've never checked the Ironwood location (or the Steveston location for that matter), but my guess is they don't do the burgers there. Would be cool if they did so I wouldn't have to specifically go to Poco for it lol. |
do all of the locations that have the save on kitchen thing serve the burgers? there is one in north surrey right off the highway that has that. |

PoCo + North Van (Park and Tllford) I guess Ironwood doesn't. :okay: |
Save on at Terra Nova for sure doesn't |
Ironwood just has their regular deli/bakery there. Spent enough time in there while kids were in swim lessons nearby. |
The Poco Sunwood Save on has happy hour menu now Spoilered for huge images from FB: Spoiler! |
I cant believe i missed this absolute dumpster of a thread one page back..... Quote:

If anyone is up for a burger or happy hour meet at the PoCo Sunwood Save On Foods, we can meet there just like we did last time for the Geriatric Motoring Club meet. This will be good for those of you who cannot make it out to the Stock & Noob Meet on Thursday, September 25 (but why not come to both?) :) Edit: I should not be posting this in the weight loss thread. :okay: |
Weird place to post this. |
