OK guys.

The actual retail price is...

$6093.52

No parts required. All labour and paint.

Mainly...

Remove/Reinstall:
Rear wheel
Rear windshield retainer
Rear door, door trim, door handle
Rear wheelhouse liner
Side skirt
Rear lamps x 2
Rear bumper cover and parking sensors

Repair the quarter panel (14 hrs repair of the quarter panel plus another 4 hrs to repair the inner wheel liner), bumper cover and alloy wheel, plus all the blending, painting, clear coat, taping etc...

Remount, balance the wheel

Recalibrate all the sensors, blind spot system, etc (sublet to Audi)

And a 4 wheel alignment

The winner is...

pastarocket who guessed $6000

let's all kindly give pastarocket a pat on the back by thanking his post here:

I know it's insane. I was thinking $3500 in my head.

Especially with no parts! All labour.

26k to repair lol. They want to write it off.

whitev70r 04-17-2025 02:52 PM

How is that $26K ??!! Did it tear into the battery?

Works in your favour actually ... here's your chance to get rid of the Tesla.

JDMDreams 04-17-2025 03:24 PM

That part is metal isn't it? Cuz it's one piece that wraps up the c pillar rear quarter. Time to get cyber truck or new y

Gumby 04-17-2025 03:38 PM

My turn - guess the make, model, and cost to repair.

Qmx323 04-17-2025 04:29 PM

Battery seems fine, been driving around with the damage with no issues. Body shop snapped some pics in the parking lot, didn't inspect the underneath. I think I’ll get a second opinion from another shop.

Does anyone make aftermarket sideskirts that cover that area? For 26k you might be better off just painting it so it doesn't rust and then covering it like that.

JDMDreams 04-17-2025 07:44 PM

How does it work if it's at fault? I mean if you get a new car out of it. How much will your insurance go up?

Forgot about this thread. My tesla app showed that it was in Saskatoon before I removed it. https://bidexport.com/vehicle/122995...3e1ea1mf989312

Body shops are such a scam.

26k yeah ok bro

Dumb bitch thinks it's clear to drive through the stop sign going northbound as their view is probably blocked by a SUV making a right off Slocan onto 22nd. So Audi T bones the bitch. Need a replacement suv now cuz it's probably a total loss, just waiting for icbc to tell me.

Starting the bidding at 15k & not a write-off!

EvoFire 08-22-2025 12:49 PM

Coming from the other thread, I was thinking it won't be write off but god damn it's only worth 20k.

SSM_DC5 08-23-2025 08:42 AM

EvoFire 08-23-2025 04:09 PM

12-15k, depending on shop. Close to write off value depending on where Blackbook puts the car at and what year the car is.

roastpuff 08-23-2025 04:59 PM

I'll take the 13333

Badhobz 08-23-2025 06:20 PM

I say written off.

bcrdukes 08-23-2025 07:39 PM

1. Not a write off
2. $8950

68style 08-23-2025 09:12 PM

Can you open the hood for pics? If the frame rail on the front right is pushed in or the inside engine bay is buckled up that’s gonna be a writeoff.

JDMDreams 08-23-2025 10:04 PM

What's the black book? I guess $12696, headlights are easy few thousand these days, tariffs? So you can't really source from the US anymore.

Too lazy to take more pics, but hood opens and latches like nothing happened
