so jordan almost creamed into 2 pedestrians walking to starbucks as he was backing out of his stall... nooby |
Uh dude that was 2 days ago... and barb already bugged me about it in the spotted thread. keyword almost. I still saw them in time. And why were they walking behind a car with the reverse lights on? |
cuz some people don't even know that cars HAVE reverse lights ;) |
^^ this pisses me off. its more common than one would think. i've almost been nailed by retards backing up because they went passed the stop line. I know i would get nailed by insurance because it would have been a rearend collision...bs. |
hmm maybe then I'll wire up some giant foglights for my reverse lights, and get a giant flashing sign across the top of my windshield that says REVO EVOM with an arrow so that people stop doing the stinking limit in the left hand lane. people shouldn't be passing/going the same speed as you in the right lane. |
There was a dude on Honda-tech a few years ago that had done the foglights as reverse lights. i agree with the sign. 100% |
wow Gebys car is soo cool, that nothing else matters |
what about making babies and living life to the fullest!? shit, i got yelled at i shouldn't brap in that parking lot. :O |
mmmmmm BRAP |

haha got yelled at today on hwy. " HEY! GET A LICENSE YOU FUCK!!" because the guy wouldn't let me change into his lane so I can make a left turn, so you know how we do it... went pass him and cut him off :p people need to take some chill pills |
Picked up an Original Owner 2nd Gen Dealer Only Serviced Lude. VERY clean interior, minimal exterior rust. Engine purrs like new. Aside from a fucked wheel bearing and a noisy exaust; it drives really well for a old car. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...e_rs/lude2.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...se_rs/lude.jpg |

photobucket.com youtube.com |
thanks :) netfreak, for some reason it just uploads my pics when I turn my camera on and doesn't show the videos when I try to upload onto photobucket straight from my camera, it gives me an error msg saying: The file "" does not have a valid video extension. Valid video extensions are: 3g2, 3gp, 3gp2, 3gpp, 3p, asf, avi, divx, divx, dv, dvx, flv, gif, moov, mov, mp4, mpeg4, mpg4, mpe, mpeg, mpg, qt, swf, wmv, xvid, rm |
click on 'my computer', than removable media, browse the folders on the folder for the camera. Once you're in the camera folder, the vids will be in a seperate folder on the camera drive. |
So me and the pops went and took a Toyota X-runner for a drive today. That is one vehicle that makes me think twice about owning a car. It went pretty good, stopped awesome and handled like a sports car. The ride was firm but smooth, and there was very little for interior noise. Suspension was designed in part by bilstein, and the 255 Potenza's on all 4 corners did'nt miss a beat. The second you put the truck into a corner though, it made you wonder if it was actually a truck. It struck us a little funny too.. Once you were through the corner it kind of gave you a vibe of, "thats it??? you wuss.. do it again, but harder this time. I dare ya!" No matter the corner we showed it, the truck would just RAIL it. And unlike most trucks, there was NO drama what-so-ever all the while your doing this. I liked the truck before, and respected it for what it could do.. But once you drive it, you get a whole new level of respect for it. I'm impressed, Toyota really nailed it. Performance, Utility, Comfort, Great gas mileage, all in an affordable pickup truck platform. Now If only I had $31,000 kickin around....... hmmm |
Danny or craig. On the prelude dual carb engines, I believe danny cut a spring or two inside of the carbs giving it more power on the silver lude. What exactly was cut and how much. That car seemed surprisingly fast for what it was and wouldnt mind squeazing a few extra ponies out of mine. A buddy still has that engine. (i've got the lowering springs) Been in about 5 cars since you've had it. Craig, for future reference. Where can I locate a cam? Didnt see anything listed on PP. Think you mentioned a place in vancouver a year or two ago. |
Jeff at Colt Cams. He makes a full spectrum of cams for those engines. Some of his Cams are in 500 hp SOHC 12V Drag preludes. Very cool stuff. On prelude power search for Jackson Racing Carb mod. Post a thread and someone will reply. It was'nt only that carb mod that made the car move. Before Danny did that, when it was bone stock it was still weirdly fast when I owned it. |
yep, they are the springs that control fuel flow, you basically just take them out, cut off a coil or two, then pull them apart to maintain the same overall length. It will give you more fuel, but if your going to do that you will want to have opened up the intake/ exhaust and add a bit more timing so you can take advantage of that extra fuel. |
i got home at 4:30am i got up at 6:45am to get ready for work im now gonna go to the Mac's and buy red bull or something |
