Finally... a new'er computer than my ancient Compaq 733 that i've had since near new. Its a Athlon XP 2500+ so it should be ok for another few years. I NEVER even got close to filling up my 10gb hd, so this 40gb is gonna be tough ;)

Now she's on her last leg. Being dismantled as we speak. All the work gone into it, yet a good friend is taking it all apart. Very hard watching this. Wouldnt be as bad if it was crashed or something, but watching piece by piece being taken off, fenders smashed in etc is hard to see... Ha, morning grievence ;)

bah that car is a piece of shit and deserves to be crushed. Honestly they are cool cars.. I REALLY like them, but man if you ever break it.. I hope you have 2 low km parts cars to fix the fuckin thing. When I had it on the road, I ordered an OEM isuzu headgasket at the dealer. over 6 months later once adam was the owner they called me back telling me that it had finally come in. I laughed at them and told them to send it back to japan.

In theyre day when new they would have been the cats ass. AWD, LIGHT, lots of power, front and rear LSD's and 60% power delivered to the rear wheels. But as they get old with lack of parts.. theyre nothing but a nightmare.

Ha fuck, so he raped it for a bunch of interior shit, dashboard, few things under the hood, bov, air filter, etc. Complete wiring harness is out, abs is coming out, interior is being guttet and... He's fixing up the engine? HG is going to be on tonite sometime, the last owner had it upside down, so the coolant jacket was pouring out the side of the block and the head wasnt getting any oil. Looks like the cyls have recently been honed, (crosshatching), valves look new etc. He's got 1.8cams and hydrolics... along with rust and dent free fenders ;) Call this thing "frankenstein" but it looks like its going to be one hell of a winter-car.

edit: Lordco has headbolts and hg's in stock! only $40 for the HG and didnt take 6mo ;)

that last tool who apparently rebuild the engine sounded like he was doing a "pro rebuild" on it.

and lordco maybe have HG and head bolts in stock.. but thats like saying mc donalds has food forsale. It's not REALLY food, and those arent REALLY headgaskets. Especially if you plan on putting 14 psi through it regularly. OEM headgasket and ARP headstuds FTW.

Son of a fucking bitch. Trans went BOOM last night while downshifting down black mtn hill. 100ft of oil on the hwy! And the new clutch is soaked in oil. What a piss off. Gonna be on my 3rd fucking trans.

maybe they just arn't built to handle that much power then?
