Weird shit tonite... anyone see all the cops around 10:30pm?

Fucking everywhere, following SUV's! mostly around the corner of bernard and glenmore Rd... patrolling random streets, london drugs parking lot... just fucking racing around pulling suv's over. Pretty fucking weird.

The thing I didnt get is they all had there trunks open, holding some sort of item in a large black fabric type bag. Idea's???? I'd really like to know whats up

Nope, still makes no sense. Are you trying to take the plates off a rental vehicle and put them on a personal vehicle? If that's the case, I don't think the rental company would be comfortable using their insurance to cover what I presume is a car of less quality than the rented one.

I believe some or all cops keep some sort of rifle in their trunk. Drug bust maybe?

Found a loophole in ICBC's insurance claims.

Alright... My Cavalier had comprehensive, collison, fire theft etc... when the car was written off last week, icbc collected my registration there leaving my plates with no registered vehicle attached to them. (Same as paying for plates for a previous vehicle that you no longer own)

Now... when I went to collect the rental vehicle, and have the insurance covered by ICBC (so I dont pay $14.99 a day) was if my insurance is valid on another vehicle that I own. (the vehicle that I wrote off, is no longer mine) ICBC took my insurance off that vehicle... there leaving it so I couldnt rent due to the fact that I no longer have a registered vehicle. I had to transfer the registration onto the GMC, just so I would be covered (having a insured vehicle in my name). This would fuck most people since they wouldnt have a 2nd vehicle to insure, or else they'd be driving that instead of renting.

how is that a loophole at all?? It may be a problem...but definitely not a loophole. Also, learn the difference between there, their and they're. It will make things WAY less confusing in your posts.

They made that "loophole" especially for the day adam crashes his cars. They did'nt figure he was smart enough to figure this out, so the time he was out a vehicle, there would be less idiots on the road.

edit* this loophole was probably intended for all idiots. not just for adam.

ColinK 01-11-2007 07:16 PM

that's pretty harsh...

down_hill_dog 01-11-2007 07:26 PM

I'll be in Kelowna on Tuesday. I was selected to go to a conference put on by the CFA institute. Its an annual event that rotates between TRU and UBC-okanagan. Should be a good time.

Sportin a 07 Yota Matrix 1.8L 128hp or somethin.

ForFoxSake! 01-12-2007 09:37 AM

haha how do you like it? My friend wanted to buy one...but I managed to convince her that it looked too much like a beached manatee, so thankfully now she has an '07 Honda Fit :lol

Adam: mad props to you...I've never seen someone shrug off so many (usually uncalled for) insults. You do seem to fuck up a lot and make less than ideal decisions (which seem to be mixed with plain old-fashioned shitty luck)...but through it all you really come through as a nice guy and I've yet to see you (at least in recent memory) stoop to the level of petty name-calling and personal insults. Well done.

I'm by no means a fan of corolla's, but for what it is and the size of its engine, it really does pull its weight around fairly decent. Cant spin the tires from a stop, handling around corners is amazing (havnt driven too many newer vehicles) braking seems pretty supperior even with the lack of ABS and all its controlls are within reasonable reach and locations. It needs some tuning to the bottom end as its got nothing under 4g's. Overall... I'd never buy one.

down_hill_dog 01-12-2007 07:04 PM

hahahahha that was the GAYEST thing i've ever seen. lolol
