so 5 days later, I'm still in pain from my wipeout. Ended up going to the urgent care walk in clinic yesterday because I was told those doctors there are ER docs and I was told my wound is infected and put onto antibiotics. This is even after making sure I cleaned the wound and put peroxide on it and antibacterial polysporin.

My girl friend ended up wiping out in the same area friday night, luckily she got a very small scratch on her elbow. Today though I find out that two other girls she goes blading with ended up biting it too on Friday. One sounds worse off than me. She ended up getting road rash on her face too in addition to the other areas and has been off work for a couple of days. My girl friend and I ended up going last night and saw that they had put some orange spray paint on the cement where it ends and the dirt begins on both sides but it's still not clearly visible. From what my girlfriend told me about her friends is that they have a consultation with a lawyer on Thursday so we'll see where that goes.
I don't like this road rash, it still is giving me random pulsating pain every say hour or sometimes more :( and I've still got to be careful about anything touching it or moving it the wrong way. Hoping for a speedy recovery but that doesn't seem very plausible :S

good luck with the recovery

rollerblading sounds dangerous.

zumvette 07-01-2009 11:52 PM

mike doesnt like people with 700 facebook friends

RRxtar 07-02-2009 09:39 AM

i dont like conversations where the second question asked is "how much money do you make?" and is quickly followed up by "because im a dentist and make ALOT" sounds like a high maintenance stuck up bitch. over 800 friends on facebook is also a very clear indicator of that. I hate kelowna girls so much

thanks :)
haha yeah I never thought rollerblading was so dangerous:rolleyes:. As long as the City keeps their construction marked it's fine. I've scabed over so at least I know that the antibiotics are doing their job and that I'm slowing healing. I still get the random shots of pain which suck, but oh well.

I am used to it now, living in GP its usually "what do you do for a living" "wanna buy me a drink" lol. I feel like responding with "wanna go into my truck and blow me?"

RRxtar 07-04-2009 02:14 PM

Ellis is pretty prime. "dude, am I a slut if I gave 2 guys blumpkins at the same time and then gave them both rusty trombones?"

Dirt Rider 07-04-2009 10:12 PM

Ellis is pretty bad ass no doubt about it...

you really need to dumb it down when you listen to him... but def. a fan

on a side note... picked up a CRF450 the other day.. took her for a rip after work today and HOLY HELL, the trq of these things is unreal..

what a dif. from the ol 250 2strokes

zumvette 07-05-2009 11:08 PM

the honda 450 dirtbikes wail, the quads meh not so much.

Few friends have them. What yr is it? I think the 05+ head flows a bit better and they lay down some very decent numbers with a cam only. If you are doing a lot of trail riding I would recommend a better water pump from what my buddies say.

Dirt Rider 07-06-2009 03:58 PM

its an 06... rips pretty damn good thats for sure..

jeffh 07-12-2009 07:11 PM

How many men does it take to open a beer?

None, it should be opened when she brings it.

I know what you mean. We fucked the dog for almost 2 months with little work, and right now I'm working 9-10 hours/day and weekends.

when i come to kelowna in sept i might give you a call. my mom has a massive yard with trees/shrubs/bushes etc.

she's probably going to need some help doing the maintenance. maybe we can set something up.

SmokeyTheBandit 07-13-2009 09:07 PM

i found another bike i want to buy...

i am going to leave it at that for now...

i should resist the urge to buy another bike...
