Did you guys go through the downed gate before AG Appel, or up the regular road?

Lets see some pics.

jeffh 03-30-2009 08:16 AM

just up the open gate, we had already driven from postil to james lake and down to goudie so we werent looking to get too far lost. did the hill climb at the gate, pretty steep, pretty long. comming down it was a bit of a pucker, staring off into space and just driving off a ledge it neat

Crappy phone picture, but here's proof. We could see where having open diffs front and rear may stop you from getting up on some of those switchbacks.

I bought a lot today. Decided to build a house as opposed to buying one. Anything decent that I liked was going for $400K and would take about 30-40K of work, so I think I can build one for about that.

SmokeyTheBandit 04-25-2009 06:24 AM

thats awesome you are getting a house man, you will get super pumped as the build gets closer and closer to finish. i've always wanted to take progress pics of a build if i ever do one. maybe go out every few days and snap a pic from the same spot!

omfg, in a few mere hours i will be riding my brand new bike. about f***ing time!!!

Congrats man. I take posession of my house Wednesday. I looked into building but i ended up buying one built in 2005. In this economy out here,
made much more sence at the time.

that would be cool, mark a spot on the street for a tripod and take a shot everyday there's progress, would make a cool slideshow.

Congrats to you too. Building has advantages for me. I can do the heating myself, and we have a plumber on staff. I also know who does good work and who doesn't, and maybe I can save a few bucks making deals with guys I know. I have a plan picked out now, I just have to get the designer to make a few more changes, then I'll have the blueprints in hand.

Nice man, makes alot of sence in that case then. keep us up to date how progress goes

fourtirefire 04-26-2009 09:09 PM

Just a tad jealous of all you guys buying your houses, It's still going to be quite a while before I can think of buying.

underscore 04-26-2009 09:26 PM
