So apparently I wasn't wrong it's just not being fully listed on the website. In todays newspaper there is a little advertisement saying:

"Effective at noon on August 17, 2009 and until further notice, campfires are again permitting in the Kamloops Fire Center, except for the Kamloops and Lillooet Fire Zones and a southern portion of rthe Clearwater Fire Zone. The campfire ban remains in place for:
- Tha Kamlops Fire Zone includes the area south towards Logan Lake, west to the Hat Creek Valley, north towards Wells Grey Park and to the east of Adams Lake in the Shuswap area.
-The Lillooet Fire Zone extends from the Hat Creek Valley in the west to the Cascade Mountains in the east and from Boston Bar in the south to the Churn Creek Provincial Park in the north
-The restricted area in the Clearwater Fire Zone extends from the northern tip of Adams Lake south into the Kamloops Fire Zone.

Effective at noon on August 18, 2009 and until further notice, the use of portable propane campfires is now permitted throughout the Kamloops Fire Center area.

Altjhough campfires are now permitted in some areas and propane campfires are not permitted across the Kamloops Fire Centre, all other Category 1, 2, and 3 open fires remain banned.

The Kamloops Fire Centre extends from the northern border of Wells Grey Park, north of Blue River to the US Border in the south, and from the Bridge River Glacier west of Gold Bridge to the Monashee Mountains east of Lumby.

I am sick of all these fires, please stop... It would be nice to see the sky again. It's horrible when you go up the hill and the smoke covers the bottom of the valley so you can't see it or when in the valley you can't see the other side of town :( Thank god I don't have any respiratory problems.

I've always had my "own place" and never had to deal with roomies. We got a larger house (fiance and I) along with her younger sister (21) and it wasnt the greatest experience. Always late on rent, ditched out on utilities more than once and she gave us 2 days notice for when she was moving out. She just packed and we came home to her driving away to Saskatoon with her bf. She thought it would be okay with us because she left us everything... Did I say that right?? Everything from leather furniture, microwave, blenders, most of her cloths, bed, dressers, mirrors, laundry hampers etc along with an "organized" section for us to "hold onto" (family pictures, leather boots, expensive framed pictures) The room was left with garbage everywhere, stained carpet etc. I guess I finally had a taste of a shitty roomie and I'm sure I'll have to deal with this again one day. I've been giving what I can away. Put the word "FREE" infront of something any people will take just about anything! I'm want to sell the rest but my fiance isnt supporting my decision but its got to be done as I luckily found someone last minute and cant store everyones shit. Her famous last words where "I'll be by next year to pick everything up" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BITCH

I don't blame you for getting rid of everything and your fiance can't expect you to be a storage place for her sisters stuff.... if she wants you to keep her sisters stuff tell her SHE has to pay the storage fees every month.

As bad as it is.. just a part of this year we have to deal with.. Extra dry conditions with lots of fuel loaded in the woods...

saucywoman 09-01-2009 07:20 AM

Yep. I was in charge of getting in-car video footage in a friend's street stock and sportsman car so she can see what she is doing with her hands and feet throughout a race. We had someone else taking video from the stands so we can combine the two views into one vid...should look pretty cool. And the rain held off, which must have been some sort of miracle because the clouds were black and it was raining everywhere else in Vernon and Armstrong.

RRxtar 09-08-2009 09:02 PM

we were camping at 1500meters just south of elkhart lodge for the weekend and didnt see any snow. it was cold and wet tho
