girlcrazy_420 03-23-2009 06:36 PM

Checked out smith creek today. Havnt been there since I was 15 so it was quite nice. All the trails are mud, and a few steep muddy hillclimbs. Stayed outa the pits, I dont adventure into deep holes that I've never seen before. I'll be heading up that way again tomarrow and teach the wife how to fling mud.
Jeff, where did you go wheeling? Looks like chute lake

the shocker 03-24-2009 09:32 AM

Got my Solo seat cowl from Honda today. it came with a 6 page instruction booklet with pictures.

im 100% dead serious these are the instructions word for word.

INSTALLATION

1. Remove the rear seat from the motorcycle.

2. Install the seat cowl in the reverse order of rear seat removal

jeffh 03-24-2009 05:25 PM

LF went flat today, had to dig 3lbs of dirt out of the bead to fix it

then i rustoleumed all the recent rock carnage ahaha

girlcrazy_420 03-24-2009 07:08 PM

I got a flat also^ Running over peoples garbage out in the bush. Its discusting what people do. Pyman road gates are open in black mountain for the first time in 20years. Go take advantage of the situation and see if you guys can get further than we got.

RRxtar 03-24-2009 09:30 PM

garbage on the trails pisses me off

my number one complaint to everyone when we go wheeling or camping is when people bring beer bottles. the bottles get smashed and then leave glass everywhere. at least with cans they are easier to pack back out and even if you leave them, they get crushed and sort of disapear.

putting the house up for a sale in one week. the hunt for a new pad is on.

so out here in saskabush i paid 80k for my house in 2006. summer 2008 it would have been listed at 220k, and right now its stabilized and will now list at 170k

jeffh 03-24-2009 10:18 PM

Yes they are legit Volks.
Guy paid $2600 for them from AJ Racing, and waited 6 months for them.
I bought them off him, still brand new, for $1500, I did well.

Are you upgrading to something bigger or just looking for something different? I'm semi-looking to buy something.

right now is the perfect time to buy out here, the higher end homes are coming down in price a fair bit. so i could score myself a brand new bungalow, 1100sqft with double attached garage for 285k

i want a newer house, now it might now be brand spanking new, but it all depends on the house and the work done to it.

criteria for me is: double garage (heated is a plus). min 3 bedrooms, min 2 bathrooms, i prefer a bungalow, good area, and a big yard for the dogs.

if i do buy a house thats not brand new, i will most likely tear down each room and rebuild it room by room. starting from the basement, working my way up.

if i do buy a brand new house, the basement wont be finished so it will be up to me to develop!

Keep in mind that you have to pay GST on brand new homes. That can make a huge difference (15,000 on 300k). If I buy, I'm looking for something 3-10 years old.

RedCeli 03-27-2009 11:28 PM

Just finished playing the daily double on Full Tilt. Its 2 $10 + $2 tourneys with $1 from each entry going into the bonus jackpot. There was about 1000 players in each. I got 2nd in one for $1300 and 14th in the other for $91. The bonus for highest combined finish is about $750. If I got final table in both, the bonus woulda been another $7500. Pretty stoked anyway.

SmokeyTheBandit 03-28-2009 11:12 AM

i've found a house for 300k and it includes gst and gst rebate goes back to me, approx 5k.
