i was huge into counter strike and firearms when i was in HS, i was in a firearms clan and im not gonna lie, if i had to miss a clan battle because of dinner or whatever id be PISSED

thats all part of being a dumb kid tho. the fact of the matter is if he didnt fall out of a tree and die, no one would be talking about it, and he woulda came home the next night or whatever after he cooled off

Berzerker 03-09-2009 08:50 AM

Parents don't understand that clan matches are as important as a kid going to play in hockey game. Just because you sit at your computer doesn't mean your not a valuable part of a team. I was a sponsored CS player back in the day and I spent hella time practicing and scrimming... thats no different than kids out in the street playing ball hockey or whatever people just have a negative opinion of computer gaming because its not physically demanding like sports..... well most of them lol.

No mom, I'm not watching bukake movies again 03-12-2009 12:04 PM

Man I thought I was going to get royally screwed this year because I was on WCB for 6 months this year. But it was totally the opposite. I got $9384.90. I guess because I was in the $75,000 tax bracket but my net income after deductions was $34,000 I got a shitload of taxes back. Time to buy another house I thinks.

Delerious 03-12-2009 01:01 PM

how the hell do i have over 900 posts... i really need to get outside more.

down_hill_dog 03-12-2009 06:39 PM

fuck you all.. I have to pay $400 in taxes.. AGAIN. If i put more into RRSP's, and less into offshore stocks and Canadian GIC's I won't have to pay next year i'm told. I'm making a fair bit on my Canadian and offshore stuff.. but still owing $400 at the end of each year blows. And aparently the govt won't take mastercard for the $400 so I can't even get air miles from it. :p

Think you have lots of posts, fuck me.

they musta taxed you to death on wcb. im only getting back 5800 without any rrsp investments.

i made more then 75 but only got taxed around 28ish

RRxtar 03-12-2009 10:33 PM

they raped me on my WCB settlement year :( only year Ive ever had to pay

No mom, I'm not watching bukake movies again 03-12-2009 11:57 PM

Well, I haven't gotten a settlement yet... that was just my wage loss compensation which isn't taxable but still has to be claimed as income but then gets deducted again. But I've also got a lot of other deductions like northern living, southern trip allowance, kids, and rrsps. I think it was because I worked a lot of overtime. Like I really only worked for 4 months this year but made 2/3's my total income. The other 8 I was on wcb or unemployed and made the other 1/3.

fourtirefire 03-13-2009 05:10 PM

Allready got mine back, refund of $240. That's with a bit into RRSP's otherwise I would've been paying.

jeffh 03-15-2009 03:57 AM

girlcrazy_420 03-15-2009 10:33 AM

arby's is good at 3 in the morning ^^ We where just about to head up the trial when we saw lights coming down. Stuck pics??

jeffh 03-15-2009 04:52 PM

no cameras, not sure what good a couple more tucks woulda done tho, we got stuck in a short valley and yanking on eachother wasnt doing much,

ended up just being ALOT of strategic shovelling and lots more hammering down.

had to come along a bunch of logs out from under the yota that he got stuck on, after he towed me out, after i towed him out

RRxtar 03-15-2009 05:02 PM

more trucks wouldnt have helped at all. wouldnt have been able to get any momentum to get a tug since the hill was pretty gnarly. woulda just ended up having another truck stuck to deal with. haha

Berzerker 03-15-2009 06:54 PM

a few jobs lined up of my own. but the majority of my time is taken up with subcontracting my company out to other companies until I get my feet wet.
