I think many traders have been betting on the Euro deal... so, any increase tomorrow would largely be offset by profit taking.

lime56 10-26-2011 08:26 PM

fas might might not
50% writedown

aww man I was debating on buying some today on the dips....
missing out on the rally! better wake early to look for opportunities

4444 10-26-2011 08:56 PM

i'm sure there'll be some f up along the way, there'll be plenty of other opportunities to jump back into the market... (this coming from a long time horizon investor) - china slow down, continued sluggishness in growth, potential for a short term stall in the European economy, even with the bail out.

we're avoiding a potential catastrophy, but its not like we'll turn around to 2% GDP growth again in Euro zone & N.A.

no need to knee jerk react tomorrow

Finally,

It's about freaking time, now the pumpers can do what they do best, and I can ride it for a while and pull the pin before some other bullshit reason comes up that creates a wave of panic selling...

Jermyzy 10-27-2011 07:43 AM

WTF happen to POT? Up big, then down big?

TouringTeg 10-27-2011 07:50 AM

I was surprised to see a dip in POT as well. Despite meeting earnings expectactions and maintaining guidance, it seems the market is not confident that a recession will be avoided.

now, as you all probably know by now, i'm not a day-to-day investor, nor do i need to be, or can be, plugged into hte market during trading, but today is a thing of beauty... it brings a tear to my eyes

even GE, my shittiest holding is up over 5% right now, i'm just waiting for that puppy to increase its dividend, before i dump it, this extra 5% certainly helped!

i almost have a tear in my eye... i love days like this!

highfive 10-27-2011 10:13 AM

^ Me too. But days like this...the shorts have tears in their eyes too. lol

I think dip tommorow for profit-taking

TouringTeg 10-27-2011 10:22 AM

I am glad to see POT bouncing back (long term hold). I would rather have some FAS or FLSR this morning tho :D up 15-16% today

Prob prudent to wait for a safer entry than chase up here. There is gonna be a lot of backing and filling in the 1240 - 1275 area I think. I was actually looking for weak U.S. GDP number today. Remember If we are gonna get QE3 from Bernanke, we need to see weak data. Otherwise it will be hard for him to convince the hawks to do additional asset purchase.

lime56 10-27-2011 10:44 AM

im dumping soon..... laxative coming

I got into this at $0.415, last I checked it was up to $0.475... up 13.1% on the day, thanks Eurotards for the free money!

Too bad I'm long, holding out for $1.50 or buyout, have some industry friends who are almost 100% certain they will see a buyout no later than spring 2012.

Edit: Up to .48

up 14.29% on the day :D

strykn 10-27-2011 11:55 AM
