so far i have everything working as fast as my real games except the new japanese starfox.. not sure which settings i should try for it to get it working

DC Sports 08-23-2006 08:07 AM

You can buy a 2gb microSD from eBay for $115cdn shipped. That's enough room to fit about half of the US releases if you want that many on your card or load your favourite games and a few movies too.

Grandmaster TSE 08-23-2006 08:37 AM

i got all DS releases too
so anyone in the area can get a disc from me too (broadway & nanaimo)

sh0n 08-23-2006 10:54 AM

Any new games that are good?

Heard that the mario 3 on 3 and starfox is good

Any other titles?

Rhetorical 08-23-2006 12:51 PM

madden07 looks promising

mmmkay 08-23-2006 01:11 PM

So far i'm liking animal crossing too :D

Oh and supercard works with all the old school GB and GBC games too! I was playing Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening all over again!!
That was way cool :)

That's about it for games that are exciting..

Razor Ramon HG 08-23-2006 04:44 PM

^

Did you just open the ROMs with the clients or what?

I want to play through the Legend Of Zelda Oracle series :)

i'll send the mario and starfox.

i just copied the .gb files over .. i think they were clean. I put them in a GB folder.

When the supercard boots up I just go to the game i want and start it up. I think it has the built in emulators and such. You could probably try something like gbongba or goomba

Razor Ramon HG 08-23-2006 05:10 PM

Cool, thanks. Does it save ?

my gf is totally into it. it's almost exactly the same as the gamecube version.

Slif 08-24-2006 05:04 PM

Nintendo just announced that they're releasing the black and pink DS Lites in US (and I'm presuming Canada) on September 13

Rhetorical 08-24-2006 07:00 PM

^the pink might be different, because the japan version is "noble pink" and the N.A. version is "coral pink"

anyways, anyone play animal crossing? post your friend codes! :p

mark2003 08-24-2006 10:30 PM

The black DS looks pimp im gonna get that when it comes out

InvisibleSoul 08-24-2006 10:50 PM

Hmm, I want to get my GF the pink one, but she already has a silver chunky DS... seems like a waste to get it.

mos_skeeto 08-24-2006 10:54 PM

The brighter screen itself is almost worth the upgrade.

i played it when i was at the san diego comic-con - it was so weird to see this game in 3d that played like FF1...

nonetheless, i'll still pick it up... but i'm more interested in ff6 advance

ff6 advance is pretty much the same as the snes one i assume
with maybe a few added things like a boss or a secret dungeon after you beat the game just like ff4 advance

andrew_77751 08-28-2006 12:33 PM

my G 6 Lite is working flawlessly, for anyone of you that want one, it's recommended. I'll probably just keep this one, and if I ever want to upgrade, It'll probably be a card that only uses the DS cart slot, since that's the new Nintendo ds flash cart upgrade.

I'm aware -- but I never finished FF6 - my SNES copy has been sitting by my TV for the last 7 years crying for me to play it again... it's about 1/2 done at this point

this is why I love the GBA - I can freakin play the game wherever I want, whenever I want
