Most of the important homebrews work on EZ4, e.g. MSN (BeUp) and a multimedia player (Moonshell).

Supercard Lite -> More flush, perfect DS speed / support with normal MicroSDs, homebrew support is better, hard to take out, butt ugly menu, GBA speed / support sucks, front loading MicroSD slot and cheaper I think

EZ4Lite Deluxe / Compact -> Less flush (not really noticable), average DS speed / support (but there's lots of potential and it's the second flash cart to support the new Star Wars game :D), perfect GBA speed / support, beautiful skinnable and touch screen interface menu, homebrew support is average, MicroSD is still a bit hard to take out, really easy to take out of the DS, has a glossy layer and a bit more expensive. (unless you get the Deluxe, which has no GBA support).

Hey, Psk has a passcard!

He bought it, but he didn't know it wouldn't work with the EZ4Lite.

PM him ASAP and order that M3Lite!

Razor Ramon HG 09-13-2006 06:23 AM

Can anyone plug their MicroSD card into HDTach, and run both quick and long mode? (Program is free and will test your SD card speed.)

He said that he just got it working, so he's going to stick with it. Damn, Well, I guess I can just order one, or get it flashed. Bennyboy I see you around the BuySell Forums sometimes, and you flash. What's so good about flashing? I don't need a Passcard 3 if I flash my DS?

Razor Ramon HG 09-13-2006 07:03 AM

^

Yeah, and you can put in your original games (you sorta have to anyways if you want sleep mode unless you do a solder mod of the DS slot).

What you get is:
1. Longer battery life since the NoPass doesn't need to redirect data
2. Autoloading flash cart menu, no need to click on the NoPass in main DS menu
3. Warranty is still there as I am going to be flashing with a undetectable version.
4. If malware from some shady ROMs or homebrews deletes your firmware without me flashing it, your DS is gone, but if it hits it after I flash, it's recoverable by 100% due to the flashing installing an undeletable section of code that alllows for the firmware to be reinstalled.
5. The menu is the same as the original Nintendo DS one, the main difference is that it will boot your flash cart in DS mode automatically.
6. Plus more!

does winsunx use UPS to ship or can u choose something else??

benny i think im gonna go with the ez deluxe and ez passcard
have u ordered from winsunx before??

Rhetorical 09-13-2006 11:50 AM

^yeah benny's ordered from winsunx. it takes them about a week before they ship, but once they do, it only takes a couple days to get here.

on a different note, i might be getting the ds-xtreme to review :)

Razor Ramon HG 09-13-2006 12:42 PM

A week? Yeah, they didn't have stock when I ordered, but he should get his if they have any.

Hey Mike, PM me the details on the DS-X, thanks.

Rhetorical 09-13-2006 05:54 PM

^probably can't help you out benny. just contact the ds-x people directly.

Here's my initial review of Mario Hoops 3-on-3 if anyone is interested:
clicky clicky

Razor Ramon HG 09-13-2006 06:02 PM

candy_jai 09-14-2006 08:46 PM

has anyone flashed their new black or pink ds lites? wonderin if its the same internals as the white and if it supports flashme v7 as it should

Razor Ramon HG 09-14-2006 08:55 PM

It supports FlashMe as usual.

I flashed impactX's Black DS yesterday, so there should be no problems.
