PATEK PHILIPPE SA - Service Costs It's not as bad as I thought it would be. A lot of people like to recommend Otto Friedl at the basement of the Hotel Vancouver, but their prices were shockingly expensive. $700 (and up) for an overhaul vs. TAG Heuer who did it for $460. Looking at these prices on PP, they aren't so bad. |
dukes you sold the watch you were looking so hard for already? |

I had owned this watch for a few years but decided to let it go as i did not love it. |

Basically it varies greatly. But the official one, where I'm bringing the watch in follows the guideline as posted by duke. For general service, depending on the model (something I have no idea), assuming no parts need to be replaced, it goes from anywhere between 800-3000 (the top end is for Grand Complications, which I don't think mine is), then add part costs if any. They said the general ballpark for an automatic PP is around $1500. However, since I mentioned mine is an old model, it can vary as they might have to send it away for service. |
https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...2e&oe=597A18C3 finally...the fenix is close to my ideal 40mm casing width they're still a little thicker than I'd like (14.5mm so about 2x that of a smartphone) and seriously no touchscreen in 2017? even the $300 Vivoactive HR has it feels and looks great compared to the typical tracker/gps watch...going to be my daily |

5 Attachment(s) My Mercer Lexington arrived last night! Super excited! 39mm case diameter, ~13.5mm thickness (added thickness from domed crystal), 49mm lug to lug distance, 20mm lug width. Sea-Gull Chinese ST-19 (Swiss designed, Venus 175) movement. Manual wind chronograph with column wheel. I have a huge thing for Panda and Reverse Panda Dials. (Baymax dial? Jason Voorhees hockey mask!?) Attached are some pics! Kinda hard to capture its beauty with my cell phone camera and bad lighting. Please excuse my long nails and childish photos :P (you can tell I'm enjoying this way too much lol). The watch also goes perfectly with my white Golf GTI... you know you're a watch and car nerd when you think of pairing the 2 together lol... |
Hey guys, Whats your opinion of the 45mm Omega Seamaster vs the 40mm Rolex submariner? I'm deciding between the two, and potentially any other alternatives, in this class... The reason why I want a Rolex is for the the "Boss" factor... but the 40mm max size makes it feel pretty femme for me... the Omega on the other hand is nice and wide, but... doesn't carry the same feel as the Rollie. What are the opinions out here among the watch guys? |
^ If i had to choose between the two, go with the Submariner. thead jack: my next soon to be purchase; it's like a tank ahahhaha https://www.ablogtowatch.com/wp-cont...7020-09E-1.jpg |
1 Attachment(s) How much would you guys pay for this original owner no box mark iv drsd? |

I'm quite a fan of the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe (43mm) or if you want something bigger, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms (45mm). By "I'm a fan of", I really mean the Bathyscaphe 38... I have small wrists :P |

Is it kosher to post some B&S links here? I just picked up a new diver, so I'm selling my current one.. It's a Seiko SKX007 (posted by a few people in this thread). It's a great watch, but also time for me to move on :) https://www.revscene.net/forums/7138...ml#post8875159 |
Has anyone here ever seen/owned a G-shock --> Mr. G Model? |
