Yes, after two years you can trade it in for a mechanical Tag and I believe you have to pay an additional $1,000.

my buddy got the same watch, and it works great, i do have one thing to pick about it, the resolution is just not as sexy as the other watches out there.

Harvey Specter 04-13-2016 12:08 PM

I've noticed the resolution as well. It's fine if you have a white dial face but on blue it's noticeable. Overall I like the watch, yes it's pricey for a smart watch but it's very light, high quality and looks good.

Picked this up while on vacation in the Caribbeans. Tax & duty free plus a great discount so it was hard to say no.

Anyone one know of a Canadian seller that offers Seiko watch movements (new or used)? Specifically the 7S26c?

So I opened up the back on my Timex Weekender Chronograph to change the battery. It has the press back plate on it, anyone have any tips on how to get the case back, back on again without the press tool? (I went ahead and ordered the tool on e-bay for future use but it won't be here for 2 weeks) I've tried to muscle it on and tried a flat bar across the back as well but not even close, I feel like I may end up breaking it. I can wait for the tool, just thought i'd ask for alternative suggestions, as others might benefit from the info as well.

Thanks.

joquio 05-28-2016 08:54 AM

I'm having a hard time choosing my next "bigger" purchase after being out of the watch game for a year.

Currently deciding between these two:

-Rolex GMT Master II 117610LN

https://www.acejewelers.com/wp/wp-co...ACE_4749-2.jpg

-Panerai Luminor Submersible PAM 25

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...tshotAlpha.jpg

Anyone had experience with either of them?
Suggestions?
I can't wear them daily for work so it'll be just weekend watch.

Just to make it more complicated I'll throw these two into the mix as well.

-IWC 3777 IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph

-Omega Planet Ocean 8500

Not a watch guy at all. So I'm hoping you guys could help out. What do you guys recommend for a watch that's around 300$ (is that enough of a budget or should I get something other than a watch?) - it's a gift for my 2 bestmen.

Thanks!
