I do love wearing them. I have stop wearing my other automatic watch. The 5600 for the more formal days. The 9000 for everything else. I want to buy more but I have small wrist and most G I lust after are hugggeee. Would welcome any suggestion on other g shock that is similar size to the 9000 |
Looking to replace my 22mm leather strap on my watch to a metal one, any place out there you guys recommend? |
Strapcode is the place to go. go google and there should be a 10% discount code floating everywhere. super satisfied with purchase of metal band. |
I recently picked up a Seiko SBBN035 and a Zulu strap. The original rubber strap was nice and soft but I just wanted to change it up a little. http://i.imgur.com/50zQPkq.jpg |
Was cleaning out my room the other day and found my Tissot V8 which I completely forgot about. I've been daily-ing my Seiko Diver for the past year, but I'm probably gonna get the battery changed on the Tissot to switch things up :fullofwin: http://www.machtwatch.co.id/images/p...1605702/1l.jpg |
Metal bands are hard to find locally, you guys know of any place? Don't really want to buy anything online. |
Depends on the type you're looking for. I've seen some metal straps by Timex at Walmart. They're pretty generic looking though. |
i'd buy bands online.. way more selection and cheaper.. just make sure you do your homework |
I would like to purchase a watch case/box for a friend but I don't know what to look for when choosing one, including where to buy, brand or materials. My budget is under $100. Help thanks! |
This is my go to pick for something around $100. Miyota Auto movement, 40mm, and has great reviews. http://www.amazon.ca/Invicta-Diver-C.../dp/B001E96DHA |

Nothing wrong with it though and probably the only Invicta watch I would buy. I should know as I bought this: for modding later down the road. haha |
1 Attachment(s) Picked this up a couple months ago. Wasn't happy with the balance so I swapped the bands around. Fits SO much better now! |
Does anyone know where I can take my automatic seiko in for service? I believe it still may be under warranty. |
Does anyone any one local than can do watch customization? Looking to do the fifty five fathom mod on my seiko. Watch face change and maybe the bezel. If anybody knows anyone reputable! Don't want to mess up my 100$ watch lol. |
2 Attachment(s) couple of my collections. gold was a treat to myself, sapphire from le gf hoping to cop a diver watch soon. seiko to start off then work up to tag. the selections on this thread are dope, keep it up! Attachment 26927 Attachment 26928 |

I did it a few times and the hardest part is setting the hands, especially the second hand. Just get some cheap tools on eBay/Amazon to start off and as I mentioned patience is key. A lot of times I just take a break or try again the next day when I'm stuck on something. Here are some mods I've done: Changed the hands on the samurai https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5118/...12403fcc_h.jpg Fifty five phantom mod https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7090/...4ce75548_k.jpg I think there were few more I couldn't find pictures of. |

Going to switch my collection over from divers to Motorsports inspired chronographs. Going to be putting both my Zelos watches up for sale on WUS today if anyone is interested. I have a Helsman and a Abyss. |
